Why is Confucius' theory affirmed by today's society?

In fact, the ancient Confucius theory is quite different from the so-called "Confucius theory" now. As we all know, the rise of Confucian culture in the contention of a hundred schools of thought is due to the fact that Dong Zhongshu's theory of "ousting a hundred schools of thought and respecting Confucianism alone" was adopted by Liu Che, the Emperor of the Han Dynasty. In fact, before this, a hundred schools of thought contended. Before the early Han Dynasty, Taoism and Mohism controlled their thoughts, and Legalism was the emperor's right-hand man. Until today, legalism still dominates. In fact, Mohist thought is now beginning to recover (whether it is a slogan or a practical problem) because everyone is talking about mutual assistance and friendship. The affirmation of Confucius' theory today is mainly due to Dong Zhongshu's concretization of this thought. Now people have comprehensively combed Dong Zhongshu's good thoughts with Confucius, Xunzi and Mencius. Now it's called Confucius' speech. In fact, I personally feel that Taoism seems to have faded out of this society, and it has never disappeared, because there are divination and seclusion in the ravine. From the formation of feudal system to today, Legalism has been in a dominant position, and Mohism has also begun to revive. Now everyone advocates mutual help and friendship. To put it bluntly, Confucius' theory seems to me to be just a slogan. The world is too lacking in benevolence.
