Feng Shui in Mao Zedong's Former Residence (What's the Story Behind the Treasure Land of Feng Shui)
In Hu Xieping, Dishuidong, Shaoshan, Hunan, there is only one road leading to Grandpa Mao's grave. On the balcony outside the cemetery, there is a protected tombstone, which is the original tombstone of Grandpa Chairman Mao and is relatively well preserved. It was discovered by accident when Shaoshan Administration was repairing Grandpa Mao's tomb in 1986. The tombstone reads: Xia Yueji, son of Renzi in the first year of the Republic of China, tomb of Mao Gongyi's eldest brother, inner mountain, male Yichang, Sun Zedong, Ming and Lin. Dong Ze naturally refers to Chairman Mao. Ming Ze and Lin Ze refer to Chairman Mao's two younger brothers, later renamed Ze Min and Ze Qin.
There is a tiger carved under the tombstone, with its head facing the direction of the tiger lying flat. Going up from the balcony is a 30-meter step surrounded by green trees on both sides. From time to time, there will be some tiger-shaped wooden signs erected among the trees, engraved with Chairman Mao's famous aphorisms, as if to alert the world who come here to worship.
Climbing the steps and passing a wooden bridge, we officially reached the grave of Grandpa Chairman Mao, with a total area of about five square kilometers. There is a tall old tree in front of the grave. This ancient tree is covered with red ribbons for blessing. The wind is blowing, and it's beautiful. Under the old trees, there are many long wooden benches for tourists who come here to worship. There is also a small pavilion next to the ancient tree, which is also used for praying. The pavilion is covered with wooden signs of blessing, which read all kinds of wishes. Basically, everyone who comes to Chairman Mao's grandfather's grave wants to be blessed by this treasure trove of geomantic omen.
There is a stone tablet inlaid with marble next to the tomb, which is engraved with the life story of Chairman Mao's grandfather. This was not made by Chairman Mao for his grandfather before his death, but by Shaoshan Administration of Hunan Province. On the platform in front of the tomb, there are a pair of golden Shi Hu. Two tigers are standing and lying with their mouths open, which makes people seem to hear the roar of tigers, which is very imposing. In addition, there is a tiger pavilion on the north side of Chairman Mao's grandfather's tomb, accompanied by Shi Hu.
Why was Chairman Mao's grandfather buried in Shaoshan Drip Cave, Hu Xieping? There have been many related legends. Among them, Chairman Mao's ancestors worked hard here. In the late Qing Dynasty, Mao Siduan, Chairman Mao's great grandfather, and a slightly ventilated friend went into the mountains to cut firewood. When I was resting, I came to Huxieping and found that this place was very dry and could not get wet at any time. After a simple survey, Mao Siduan's friends told him that this is a treasure trove of geomantic omen. Mao Siduan, who longed to love his son, did not choose this place as his final resting place after a hundred years, but planned to leave it to his son. But there is only one treasure trove of feng shui, but there are two sons, and the palms and backs of their hands are all meat. Who should I give it to? In all fairness, after consulting with Mao and Mao, Mao Siduan decided to bury the deceased in this land of feng shui first. After all, death is a natural law, and no one can control it. This is the fairest.
1904, one of Mao's younger brothers, Chen Yi, that is, Chairman Mao's grandfather died first. However, Mao Shunsheng, Mao's son, still has reservations about whether to be buried in Huxieping. After all, decades have passed, and who knows if Feng Shui has changed. Therefore, Mao Shunsheng first parked Chairman Mao's grandfather's coffin next to the cemetery, and then invited the famous Mr. Feng Shui to divine again 1 1 day. It was not officially buried until 19 12. This matter was not fabricated out of thin air, but Chairman Mao himself said it.
Seen from the air, "Tiger Xie Ping" looks like a blooming lotus. According to the local legend, Xiao Ji is the eight surrounding peaks, and this tomb is among these eight peaks. It is said that at the time of burial, the cemetery was surrounded by stones and tiger rocks on Tiger Ge Ping, which were very hard and could not be excavated at all. Only the place where the coffin is placed is soft, and it is a pit if you hoe it easily. But when the hole is as big as the coffin, it can't be dug any more. More surprisingly, when the coffin was buried, there was a faint Xiao Sheng around it. As soon as this legend spread, people thought that this place was going to produce a real dragon emperor. It is said that Chiang Kai-shek later wanted to dig the grave of Chairman Mao's grandfather, and this is the legend he heard. 1On June 29th, 932, Chiang Kai-shek, who had suffered repeated defeats, began to deviate from his ways. He ordered a team of Kuomintang troops to run to Huxieping in the dark, intending to dig out the "Long Mai" in Chairman Mao's home. But before it started, it thundered in the sky and there were voices in the mountains. It's simply fantastic, and it scares the Kuomintang troops who dig graves. In a panic, the Kuomintang army dug a few graves at random, stole the bones and went back to work, and then it was over. Grandpa Chairman Mao's tomb was not dug up. After knowing this, Chairman Mao sarcastically said, "Chiang Kai-shek wants to dig my ancestral grave, which won the hearts of the people, and those who lost the hearts of the people won the world."
1In June, 959, Chairman Mao returned to his hometown after a 32-year absence, modeled on the housing structure of Zhongnanhai, Beijing, and built a villa in Dishui Cave, Shaoshan, intending to use it as his old age in the future. 1June, 966, Mao Zedong returned to Shaoshan south and lived here alone 1 1 day. While thinking about the current situation, it is also to commemorate my grandfather. Thanks for watching, so stay tuned!
