The Story of Tangyuan

The fifteenth day of the first month is the Lantern Festival every year. Every Lantern Festival, people will eat glutinous rice balls. Why is there the custom of eating glutinous rice balls on the Lantern Festival? Let's get to know it together!

The story of glutinous rice balls 1 1. The origin of Lantern Festival

According to legend, when Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty lived, there was a short man named Dong Fangshuo. He is not only witty but also kind-hearted. Maids-in-waiting, no matter who offended Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, the emperor always came forward to intercede when blaming him. Therefore, ladies-in-waiting all like him very much.

It snowed for several days in December that year. Dong Fangshuo went to the Imperial Garden to fold plum blossoms. Just entering the garden gate, I saw a maid-in-waiting running towards Yujing with tears on her face. He quickly stepped forward to stop the rescue. This maid-in-waiting is called Yuanxiao, who lives in the northwest mountain of Chang 'an, and has parents and a little sister at home. Since she was elected to the palace, at the end of the year and the beginning of the year, she missed her loved ones and felt like a knife. It's cold and snowy these days, and she can't help but think of the hardships of her parents and little sister at home, thinking: since she can't live with her parents, she might as well die. Then come to the well. Dong Fangshuo heard the story of Yuanxiao. I comforted her, persuaded her for a while, and promised to find a way to let her meet her parents and little sister.

Judging from the life experience of Yuanxiao, Dong Fangshuo thought that ladies-in-waiting and sisters were full of melancholy, so he came up with a clever plan.

On this day, he came to the hometown of Yuanxiao in the northwest mountain, arranged it for a while, and then returned to Chang 'an Avenue to sell hexagrams. Some people know Dong Fangshuo, knowing that he knows astronomy from above and Yin and Yang from below, and they all try their best to divine and divine. All they want is the sign "Burn us on the 16th of the first month". People were very alarmed and demanded solutions. Dong Fangshuo said mysteriously, "On the afternoon of the 13th day of the first month, all the old people with white beards in the city were waiting at the gate of Shilipu Avenue in the northwest of the city. When it was dark, a girl in red came from the northwest on a pink silver donkey. She is the Vulcan king who was ordered to burn Chang 'an. When the fathers see her, they will kneel on the ground to stop the road and call for help, so that the whole city can be saved. "

People listened to Dong Fangshuo, believed him, and kept in secret contact with each other. On the afternoon of the 13th day of the first lunar month, the old man with white beard in the city came to Shilipu with crutches. It was just dark, and sure enough, a girl in red came from the northwest on a pink and silver donkey. The elders swarmed and begged. The girl looked at her grief-stricken elder and said, "I'm here on orders from the Jade Emperor. When Chang 'an is on fire, the Jade Emperor will still stand on the worse gate and watch. If there is no fire, it is my sin. Since my father begged me, I will give you the copied poem, and you can give it to the king and the landlord, so that they can find a way. " Say that finish, throw a poem, turned and left.

Later, the old people told the story to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty looked at the poem and saw that it read: "Chang 'an is robbing, burning the palace, burning for 16 days, flaming red midnight snack." Emperor Wu of song murmured, scared full head big sweat, consult the resourceful Dong Fangshuo. "Said Dong Fangshuo heard that Vulcan also likes to eat glutinous rice balls. I think, on the night of the 15th, all the subjects in the city can make dumplings to worship, and pray devoutly and beg Vulcan for leniency. Then ask Kyoto people to make lanterns together. On the sixteenth night, red lights were hung on the streets and courtyard doors, and fireworks were set off throughout the city. By then, the city will be red and fireballs will fly all over the sky, which will definitely scare the Jade Emperor who is watching from the worse gate. Then open the four gates of Kyoto and let the people outside the city go to the city to see the lights. Emperors, concubines and ladies-in-waiting go to the streets to watch the lights in 3355. Those who are not robbed in the countryside will be moved by their light, blessed by them and avoided disaster. In addition, the immortals also know that jiaozi of Yuanxiao is doing well. You can ask Yuanxiao to carry the big palace lantern, write the name of Yuanxiao and clear the way in front of me. I will follow behind with jiaozi in my hand, walking through the streets to pay homage to Vulcan hovering over Chang 'an. It will definitely soften her heart. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was overjoyed and ordered to do it according to Dong Fangshuo's method.

On the 16th day of the first month, the western hills set, and Chang 'an was decorated with lanterns. When people in the countryside got the news, they all went to the city to see lanterns. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty took off his royal clothes and put on casual clothes, and took to the streets under the protection of several ministers recently. Empress, imperial concubine and Gong E's colorful girls also left the palace in groups of three or five. The whole Chang 'an City is brightly lit, with fireballs flying and fireworks all over the sky, which is very beautiful.

Yuanxiao's sister took her parents to Chang 'an to see the lanterns. When she saw the big palace lantern with the words "Yuanxiao" written on it, she shouted in surprise: "Sister Yuanxiao, Sister Yuanxiao." When Yuanxiao heard the shouts, he came to his parents and the family got together.

After a night of lights, Chang 'an Kyoto was safe and sound, and Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty was overjoyed. On the 15th day of the first month of the following year, Yuanxiao was still allowed to worship Vulcan in jiaozi, and the whole city of Izayoi was decorated with lanterns and set off fireworks, which was handed down from generation to generation. Every year. Because the jiaozi provided on 15 is made of Yuanxiao, people call it Yuanxiao, and this day is the Lantern Festival. This is the origin of fifteen Lantern Festival and sixteen lanterns.

Second, the origin of eating glutinous rice balls on the fifteenth day of the first month

According to legend, in ancient times, in order to unify the whole country, the Jade Emperor sent the Kitchen God Bodhisattva to stay on earth to understand the people's feelings and report back every Wednesday. On the 23rd of the winter month in the summer calendar, the Kitchen God Bodhisattva reported back to the Jade Emperor: "People on earth eat only meager food for 365 days a year. Work hard every day and never rest. If this continues, I am worried that the common people will be exhausted and unable to produce because of excessive fatigue, which will definitely affect their contribution. " When the Jade Emperor heard this, he ordered his ministers to discuss a good plan. Taibai Venus said, "Your Majesty can order Heng Tuo's ancestors to come down to earth and prescribe some medicine for the people so that they can get sick slowly and rest naturally." The jade emperor allowed it to play, and the task was handled accordingly.

On the morning of the eighth day of the twelfth lunar month, Father Heng Tuo secretly put crazy drugs in people's rice cookers. When the medicine is put into the pot, it becomes soybeans, peas, garlic sprouts, tofu and meat. After eating it, the people are really "crazy" slowly: women sew new clothes and embroidered shoes, and men kill pigs and sheep, unwilling to work in the fields. After the 24th of the twelfth lunar month, crazy people became very valuable for medicine. People invite people to eat at their host's house and drink at their home. At noon on the thirtieth day of the twelfth lunar month, the people took out all kinds of delicious food and sat around the table, and the family ate and drank. From the first day of the first month, men, women and children not only eat well, but also play around all day. Some painted painted faces, beating gongs and drums, wandering around; Some people invite people to pay New Year greetings with gifts.

On the thirteenth day of the first month, the kitchen god bodhisattva said to heaven, "Your Majesty, no, the people are crazy! Eat and play, live and do nothing. At this rate, how can you get it? " The Jade Emperor was very surprised when he heard that, so he ordered his ministers to discuss the best plan again. Taibai Venus also said, "If you want to cure crazy people, you can make the drug king Bodhisattva try." The Jade Emperor allowed the medicine king Bodhisattva to descend to the earth to govern.

On the 14th night of the first month, Bodhisattva, the King of Medicine, made the people's supper into glutinous rice balls, and put sesame seeds, walnuts, sugar and other anti-hangover agents into them. People ate them, and all the madness recovered the next morning, and the family went back to work as usual.

In this way, the cycle continues, forming the habit of Chinese New Year.

Third, the origin of the social fire on the fifteenth day of the first month

There are so many festivals all year round, why do you only play social fire on the fifteenth day of the first month? Among the people, there is such a story.

According to legend, in the early years, our ancestors had no houses to live in, either in the Woods or in caves. At that time, fierce beasts and birds of prey came out to eat people in the mountains and Pingchuan every day. People hide, there is nowhere to hide, but they can't fight again and again. Many people are eaten by wild animals every day. Especially in the winter festival, because of the cold weather, there are no small animals on the mountains and no crops in the fields, and those wild animals are even more fierce. They eat people when they see them.

In order to live a quiet life, people get together to find a way, find a way, and slowly discover that those beasts also have strong and weak points and inner struggles. They often kill each other for turf and food. You eat me today, and I will eat you tomorrow. As long as lions, tigers and leopards roar, other wild animals will run around in fear; When the phoenix calls, all birds are like tourist traps, and even their wings can't be opened.

Therefore, people began to imitate the lion's roar to make gongs, the tiger's roar to make cymbals, the leopard's voice to make drums, and the phoenix's voice to make flutes. Whenever there are crowds of birds and animals, everyone will take out gongs, cymbals, drums and flutes, and play and dance until dawn. Hearing this from a distance, birds and animals thought they had broken into the territory of lions, tigers, leopards and phoenixes, and fled in panic. Later, it was passed down from generation to generation, and it became a custom to have a social fire on the fifteenth day of the first month.

Story of Tangyuan 2: A Tangyuan jumped out of the pot. It was too hot for many foods to touch it, so it slowly rolled into the trash can.

A mouse is trying to find food. In the distance, I saw a chubby ball rolling towards it. Hurriedly climbed into the trash can and stared at the small dumplings.

This jiaozi stopped, looked up at the mouse, and jumped out with a sentence: "Why do you think I am so round?" Hearing this, the mouse laughed: "You asked me? Hahaha! I don't know, we are not familiar. " The mouse took a contemptuous look at the dumplings: "Boy, I'm still wandering around at this age." Aren't you afraid of being eaten? "Xiao Tangyuan proudly said," cut! Eat me, dare you? I'm too hot. If you eat it, it will burn you to death. " The mouse didn't believe it, so he stepped forward and kicked the small glutinous rice balls, jumping and screaming.

Jiaozi Jr. rolled into the road, and it was no longer hot. He saw a pug in the blink of an eye and stepped forward to stop his way: "Why do you think I am so round?" Pugs have different answers to the same question: "Nonsense, is your jiaozi round or square?" Pugs shake their hair and move on. Tangyuan rolled over and sat up and asked, "Why do you call me Tangyuan?" "Nonsense again, don't call you dumplings call you Tang Fang! I said, do you have a head or not? I don't know yet. " Pugs lose patience. "Stupid dog, how dare you touch me?" Tangyuan said impudently. "Boy, you are so rude. Don't think I will eat you." Tangyuan thought: What are you afraid of? You'll get burned like a mouse. Pug swallowed glutinous rice balls in one gulp and said with a smile, "I thought you were better!" " Finally, I didn't eat it. "

Little chubby jiaozi died like this.

The Story of Tangyuan 3 The Origin of the Festival

Lantern Festival is one of the traditional festivals in China, which existed more than 2,000 years ago in the Western Han Dynasty. According to data and folklore, the fifteenth day of the first month was paid attention to in the Western Han Dynasty. On the first night of the first month of the first month, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty offered sacrifices to "Taiyi" (Taiyi: the God who rules everything in the universe) in Ganquan Palace, which was regarded by later generations as the forerunner of offering sacrifices to the gods on the fifteenth day of the first month.

Yuanxiao originally meant "the night of Shangyuan Festival", because the main activities of Shangyuan Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month were to eat glutinous rice balls and enjoy the moon at night, and later the name of this festival evolved into "Lantern Festival". On the night of Lantern Festival, the streets are decorated with lanterns and colorful decorations, and people enjoy lanterns, solve riddles on the lanterns and eat Lantern Festival, which pushes the' celebration' started on New Year's Eve to another climax and becomes a custom handed down from generation to generation. Yuanxiao was only called the fifteenth day of the first month, the first half of the first month or the full moon when the early festivals were formed, and it was called Yuanxiao or Yuanxiao after Sui. Influenced by Taoism in the early Tang Dynasty, it was also called Shangyuan, but it was only in the late Tang Dynasty that it was occasionally called Yuanxiao. But since the Song Dynasty, it has also been called Dengxi. In the Qing dynasty, it was also called the Lantern Festival. In foreign countries, Lantern Festival is also called Lantern Festival.

Why do you eat glutinous rice balls on Lantern Festival?

Eating glutinous rice balls on the fifteenth day of the first month is the same custom all over the country. Experts say that jiaozi is also called "Dumplings" or "Tangyuan" and "jiaozi", while South Renye Fang is called "Dumplings" and "Floating Dumplings". On the fifteenth day of the first month, almost every household eats glutinous rice balls.

Folklore experts say that when cooking jiaozi, it looks good because it floats on the water after boiling, which reminds people of a bright moon hanging on the cloud. There is a bright moon in the sky, jiaozi in the bowl, and every family is round and round, symbolizing reunion and good luck. Therefore, eating dumplings expresses people's love for family reunion. The survey also shows that China people inherit and love traditional festivals, and they also love China culture. Eating glutinous rice balls needs a different taste.

In addition, the name of Tangyuan is similar to the pronunciation of "reunion", which means reunion, symbolizing family reunion, harmony and happiness. People also miss their departed relatives and place their best wishes on their future lives.

Lantern Festival custom story

Lantern Festival, also known as "Shangyuan Festival" or "Lantern Festival". According to records, the Lantern Festival appeared around the Han Dynasty, and the Ming and Qing Dynasties, together with the Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, were called the three traditional folk festivals in China, with a history of more than 2,000 years.

When Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty ascended the throne, there was a maid-in-waiting named Yuanxiao in the palace. She lived in the palace for many years, missed her parents and spent all her days in Lacrimosa. Determined to help her, Dong Fangshuo lied to Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty that Vulcan was ordered by the Jade Emperor to burn Chang 'an on the 15th day of the first month, and the only way to escape the disaster was to let "Yuanxiao Girl" make a lot of Vulcan favorite jiaozi on the 15th day of the first month, and all subjects were decorated with lanterns. Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty let the Yuanxiao girl finally meet her family. Since then, the Lantern Festival has been formed, and the custom of eating glutinous rice balls in the Lantern Festival has spread at this time.

The custom of eating glutinous rice balls on the Lantern Festival was formed in the Song Dynasty. According to records, in the Tang Dynasty, people ate "cocoons" and "circles don't fall into corners" on the Lantern Festival. "Lactose dumplings" appeared in the Southern Song Dynasty, which should be the predecessor of glutinous rice balls. In the Song Dynasty, Zhou Bida wrote a poem "Cooking a Floating Zi Yuan on the Lantern Festival", including the poem "There are stars in dark clouds and pearls in turbid water". By the Ming Dynasty, "Yuanxiao" had more names.

Cultural value

The traditional festival customs in China have adapted to the comprehensive needs of the broad masses of people in China in material, spiritual, ethical and aesthetic aspects. In terms of material life, traditional festivals in China have many unique foods in different festivals. On the Lantern Festival, the whole family eats glutinous rice balls together. "Tangyuan" sounds similar to "reunion", symbolizing reunion and harmony.

The cultural value of Lantern Festival lies in that it is a national carnival, in which everyone participates and enjoys it. Because of the opening of the ancient Lantern Festival, the crowds are woven, and men and women meet, which is easy to produce love. For thousands of years, two of a kind's love story staged on the Lantern Festival is endless.

The main activity of Lantern Festival is mass entertainment, but its social and cultural significance is not just entertainment. There are many religious activities on the fifteenth day of the first month, so pray for the blessing of the gods. Lantern Festival is also a good time to find children. In Song Dynasty, Chen's Book of the Year, Volume 12, Stealing Lights, explained why people stole lights at the Lantern Festival at that time and said, "A cloud, whoever steals lights, is a good omen for men." The homonym of "light" here is "Ding", which is male. In this way, stealing a lamp symbolizes the birth of a son, and stealing a lamp is to pray for the child to continue. In the same way, watching lanterns also means looking for children. Therefore, it is reasonable for ancient women to go out to watch lights for this reason.

Festival culture has no national boundaries, such as Spring Festival and Lantern Festival. The enthusiasm, boldness and publicity of hundreds of millions of people can be compared with the carnival in Brazil, Germany and other countries.

Story 4 of Tangyuan is white and round, small and delicious. Guess what this is, children.

Yes, that's delicious jiaozi. Yesterday, we held an activity about jiaozi in the third grade, which was to pack jiaozi and eat jiaozi.

We walked to restaurant 2, where our parents were already waiting. I saw my grandmother stirring glutinous rice flour, and other members of our group began to knead it. One parent said, "We can eat more by kneading more stuffing and wrapping more jiaozi." We said with one voice, "Good!" So everyone joined hands.

After a while, the flour was kneaded and jiaozi was ready. The jiaozi made by our group is big and round. Other students saw it and said, "You wrapped it so well, it must be delicious." We said modestly, "Nothing, you wrapped it well."

When the bag is finished, we will have nothing to do. Some children have gone to help other groups, some are waiting by, and some are …

We can eat jiaozi and can't wait to eat it. I ate a pink one first, "Oh! Delicious! " I said loudly.

We ate for a long time, and finally we were completely full and went back to our classroom to do our homework. Back to the classroom, while doing my homework, I thought, "Today is really interesting, because Bao jiaozi is so interesting."

Story 5 of Tangyuan: "White sugar plums are really novel. They are sold along the street on the fifteenth day of the first month, and no one mentions them after the first month." Guess what this is, children. This is delicious jiaozi. Eating jiaozi is a traditional custom of the Lantern Festival. On the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, every family will eat their own jiaozi. Classmates, we packed jiaozi yesterday and ate our own jiaozi. Let me share my personal experience!

Yesterday, when my classmates and I lined up to walk into the canteen, we found that our parents were already waiting there, and all the materials for jiaozi were ready. I washed my hands and rolled the lard stuffing into balls. My mother squashed glutinous rice flour and good flour, then put lard balls into the flour, wrapped the lard balls with flour, and rounded the flour to make a big round jiaozi. You see, my mother and I cooperate very well! My mother and I continued to cooperate in this way, and soon our group's materials were used up. Although our group has the fastest package speed, the quality is the worst! After a while, delicious jiaozi came to everyone's mouth, and my mouth watered. I got dumplings as I wished. It feels sweet and delicious, sweet but not greasy.

In this activity, I not only learned to pack jiaozi, but also ate my own jiaozi. I think this activity is really hard to forget!

The Story of Tangyuan 6 One night, the family was going to have supper Tangyuan. They took out jiaozi, shivering with cold, and threw it directly into boiling water.

"ah! Ah! Cool! It's thawed It's so hot! " They paddled and shouted one after another. Several jiaozi tried to climb out of the pot and escape, but they were all pushed back by a spatula with a wry smile.

Tangyuan people looked around to see if there were any tools to help them escape from the tiger's mouth while adapting to the water temperature, but they didn't see any useful tools after reading it several times. They looked at each other and sighed. Suddenly, they heard a voice say to them, "Hey! Tangyuan! Stop looking and despair! No one can help you. It is your blessing to be in the master's belly. Enjoy your open-air hot spring! What are you yelling about here? "

Looking down the sound, jiaozi only saw the spoon with its legs crossed, leaning against the bowl, squinting and looking at them with a wry smile. They held their breath and remained silent. When the spoon saw jiaozi's silence, it was even more unscrupulous, and all kinds of insults and taunts were bombarded in turn.

After a while, jiaozi cooked. The host put them all in the bowl. At this time, the spoon was still swearing: "I said, your jiaozi is really ugly, fat, round face, round hands, round belly, the whole ball!" ""we recruit you to provoke you! I don't think you look that good either. You have a big head and a small body, and you walk top-heavy. Do you think you are a big-headed son? !” As they spoke, jiaozi rolled up their sleeves and pushed the spoon off the table. The spoon quickly said, "Hey! All right, all right. A gentleman talks but doesn't do it! No ... "The spoon was pushed down before it was finished. When the owner saw it, he picked it up, washed it and put it back in the bowl. As soon as the spoon reached into the bowl, it cursed: "It really hurts! Are you serious ... no! " "pa! "The spoon was pushed to the ground by jiaozi. On hearing the sound, the person who was about to ask his son to eat turned to look, huh? Why did the spoon fall to the ground again? He immediately picked up the spoon, washed it with water and stuffed it back into the bowl. The spoon learned this time, and as soon as it was put into the bowl, it knelt down and kowtowed and said, "The boss of glutinous rice balls is on the table, bitch, my spoon is welcome!" "As long as you let me go, I'm willing to go out for you and be a cow and a horse." Jiaozi was taken aback, but on second thought, he said, "You don't mean to send us into the mouth of human beings. We don't want to be eaten by humans. How about you take us away from the tiger's mouth? " The spoon raised its head again with a bang: "Yes, sir!" " "Later, when the master went to the living room to ask his son to eat, jiaozi and the spoon slipped down the leg of the table, jumped on the back of the spoon, rode on the spoon horse and ran away.

The master and son came out of the living room and sat at the dining table. Suddenly, they found the bowl in front of them empty, huh? ! Where are jiaozi and the spoon?

By this time, jiaozi had already flown away!

Story of Tangyuan 7 Sweet sugar stuffing, soft skin, delicious dessert is delicious Tangyuan! I ate glutinous rice balls again today!

Don't underestimate these jiaozi, they were "born" after my hard preparation.

In the afternoon, my mother is packing jiaozi. I went to my mother and said, "Mom, I also want to buy jiaozi."

At first, my mother said I was too young to clean up, but after repeated requests, she agreed and began to teach me how to clean up.

Just like my mother said, I first took a small ball of flour and rounded it with my hands. Then I put my thumb in the middle and pressed it, and the other fingers turned flexibly. Then I put a small ball of sesame stuffing in it, and then I "mended" the hole and rounded it. I do it carefully, but my skin breaks every time I fill a hole. My mother still patiently guided me and told me what was wrong. ...

Finally, I made a decent jiaozi! Unexpectedly, it may be because I started to feel a little proud just after eating a little, and the following jiaozi tastes worse than one. My mother had to give me more demonstrations, but I still couldn't do it well. Mother began to be unhappy: "There have been demonstrations, but it still won't work. It's not that simple to learn something. You must be serious! " "I also feel very wronged: people are still serious, or they can't do it well!

Although I thought so, I still didn't lose heart. I continued to observe my mother's movements carefully and worked harder. Finally, the "ugly duckling" became a "swan"! I jumped three feet for joy.

This time, jiaozi, let me know that everything will not be smooth sailing. But as long as you study hard, work hard and never be proud, nothing will happen!

Story of Tangyuan 8 Today is the Lantern Festival. According to the custom, every household should eat glutinous rice balls and enjoy the moon in solve riddles on the lanterns. Every year, when I turn on the light, I often go home late to eat hot "ready-made" jiaozi. Before the official start of school this year, I finished my homework and went to see the story behind jiaozi!

My mother-in-law first brought a big empty basin, washed her hands with me and began to work. She poured glutinous rice flour into half an empty basin, and then poured a little warm water. While kneading dough skillfully, she said to me meaningfully: "Son, this is very particular about pouring water and kneading dough: the water should be a quarter of glutinous rice flour until it is dry and not delicious;" Too many faces can't be rubbed together, so they can't become' water surface'! The strength of the dough should also be uniform, so that the noodles made are strong! "

After kneading the dough, my mother-in-law and I broke it into small pieces. I picked up a short piece and kneaded it into a ball. It was chubby and so cute! Mother-in-law pressed the ball with her thumb, put shepherd's purse and sesame seeds into the "small hole", and pushed the extra noodles next to her to the middle like steamed bread, "capping". A fat doll as white as snow and full of knowledge is finished!

Although "the story behind" jiaozi is a little hard, I enjoy this process and bring me fun!

The Story of Tangyuan On the morning of New Year's Day, every household in Ningbo will eat lard Tangyuan.

Like everyone else, grandpa's family will eat glutinous rice balls during the New Year, or make them themselves. They are delicious. Tangyuan is one of the most representative snacks in Ningbo. The jiaozi made by Grandpa's family is very safe. It is not only fun to eat, but also fun to make. However, how did such delicious jiaozi come from? In the Song Dynasty, a novel snack was popular in Ningbo. It is delicious with glutinous rice as the skin and sesame sauce, sugar and lard as the stuffing. Some people saw him ups and downs in the pot, calling it "ups and downs" and later "Yuanxiao". In that era when snacks were scarce, this kind of snacks immediately spread all over the country, with a beautiful meaning of reunion, and later became a must-eat food for the Lantern Festival and an intangible cultural heritage. Nowadays, there are more and more varieties of glutinous rice balls, but what we Ningbo people remember most is lard glutinous rice balls.

Tangyuan has a very interesting story in my home. Once, when my grandfather made dumplings, I also participated. At that time, I thought to myself, "Why don't I make a mini jiaozi?" So I made one. The next day, when I was preparing to cook, I opened the towel wrapped in jiaozi. My mini jiaozi was put together with other Big Macs, and I thought, "I must try jiaozi in the future." Later, when jiaozi came to the table, my little jiaozi couldn't be found. Look at someone else's bowl, there is no trace in it. Alas, the small dumplings just vanished. When I told you this discovery, the whole family laughed and almost didn't spit out jiaozi.

If you come to Ningbo, you must always eat our lard dumplings.

The Story of Tangyuan 10 "Selling Tangyuan, selling Tangyuan, the second brother's Ningbo Tangyuan is round ..." The familiar ballad sounded in my ear early, and my mouth was watering. Look, those white jiaozi are lying on the plate, waiting to swim in boiling hot water. My favorite is glutinous rice balls stuffed with sesame seeds. If you bite them, the sweet juice will stay in your mouth. I believe your taste buds will be dancing with excitement. Don't forget to lick the black juice from your mouth.

My grandfather likes jiaozi, too. Every year during the Spring Festival, he always prepares a big bag of glutinous rice flour, and I will go to my grandmother's house to pack jiaozi to eat together. But this year, my grandfather was ill and had a major operation in his stomach. The doctor said no more glutinous rice, it's not easy to digest. Looking at grandpa's thin figure, our whole family fell into grief.

The Spring Festival is coming again. Although we can't eat dumplings, we will still have a warm reunion. I thought and thought, and finally found a way. I cut the dumplings with white paper, my grandfather's favorite lard stuffing, and I ordered the center yellow; Grandma's favorite bean paste, I ordered brown; My favorite sesame stuffing, just order it with a black pen. So I made a bowl full of jiaozi, and my family ate this bowl of "jiaozi" together during the Spring Festival.
