If yin is superior to yang, it is called "taking advantage of rigidity", which means that the weak (the soft) take advantage of the strong (the rigid), and the "villain" takes advantage of the "gentleman", which is often unlucky. If several females are all above a male, then these females can be called "multiplication" for this male.

Every two neighbors, if the shade is under the sun, are simply called "Cheng Gang" or "Cheng Gang", which symbolizes that the humble (weak) will inherit and respect the noble (strong) and seek help. At this time, the fate of righteousness depends on the specific situation. Generally speaking, people who are in the right position of Yin and Yang are lucky, while those who are in the wrong position are fierce. If there are several yang hexagrams on a mother hexagram, this mother hexagram can be called the "orientation" of several yang hexagrams.

Both can be called "than" (closer). The contrast between the two hexagrams symbolizes the function and reaction of things in the adjacent environment, which can be analyzed through the orientation relationship between yin and yang of the two hexagrams.

In a hexagram, the three hexagrams of the lower hexagram and the three hexagrams of the upper hexagram correspond to each other in corresponding positions (namely, the first hexagram and four hexagrams, the second hexagram and five hexagrams, and the third hexagram and the upper hexagram). Correspondence, such as one yin and one yang, is called "should"; If they are both yang or yin and cannot resonate, it is called "no response". The "should" and "shouldn't" of position are often used to analyze images, symbolizing the law of harmony and unity and contradiction between things.
