China people have a weak religious concept, so why are China people more superstitious than westerners?

Religion is a kind of belief, which has a utilitarian side, but it basically pursues a higher position outside of life.

China people are more utilitarian and realistic, and most people only see immediate interests, without higher pursuit. Therefore, superstitious means are more common, such as hanging a jade pendant around the neck, placing a lucky cat or a god of wealth in the shop, and holding ceremonies to achieve people's expectations.
