How did witchcraft come into being in primitive times?

In ancient times, when human beings could not understand the phenomena of thunder, electricity, fire, snow, illness and death, a primitive religious thought of "animism" came into being. Under the guidance of primitive logical thinking, primitive people fantasized about using the power of nature to overcome all disasters encountered in natural society, and witchcraft came into being.
