What does Tara mean?

Tara, the full name of Buddha, is incarnated by avalokitesvara, so it is also called Duoluo Guanyin.

Tara is "the mother of three buddhas" and "the mother of all beings". For all sentient beings with different origins, Tara becomes twenty-one Tara, five hundred Tara and so on, including the very famous White Tara, Green Tara and Red Tara.
