The story of wordless chess has been passed down from generation to generation.

Legend has it that there is a monk who hides in the mountains all day to recite scriptures. He went down the mountain to beg, and there was no food. One day, the monk went down the mountain and returned empty-handed. He went back to the temple in frustration, sat on the ground and wrote with a stick all day. He wrote a "▽" shape on his temple, a "ten" in the middle and a "field" under his temple. Thinking of many fields, he divided one field into four fields and connected them with the temple. The monk was so hungry that he didn't want to write any more, so he put an "X" on every word "Tian" and muttered: It seems that he is hungry today. He dropped the stick and felt for a few stones everywhere. The monk sat cross-legged with pebbles in his hand. In the picture, a few pebbles fell from his hand to the ground, and the monk brightened up and came to the spirit. He wants to find a way to hide the charity and not ask for it in vain, so that farmers can give him food willingly. So he compared himself to a stone at the intersection of the temple, compared the farmer with food around the word "Tian" to a few stones, and regarded all the strokes as roads, which could extend in all directions. Monks imagine that if you go by yourself, the farmers will take a step, and you can't ask others for charity as soon as you meet on the road. He came up with a way, that is, as long as he meets two farmers on a straight road at the same time, he can only stand in the middle and give alms, and the farmers have to give alms. This trick is called "picking", and farmers are unwilling to give it, so they have to find a way to change the route. The key is to see how the monks go, so as to "pick out" all the children of farmers. Only in this way can we give fast food.

The monk decided to go down the mountain to try this method. So he came to a yard and asked several farmers to beg, but they didn't give him any. He drew the figure he invented on the ground, found a few stones and replaced them with sticks to show you his method. The loser will get food. Everyone saw that this method can and is very fun, so they played games. Later, people called this toy "Monk Chess", and some people called it "Five Horse Chess". What is more difficult to walk than monk chess is Tianqi, which is called "369" in some places. This kind of chess can't go to heaven without playing a few games. Legend has it that there were three bandit emperors who rebelled in the east, west and south, fighting for power and profit, constantly attacking each other and expanding their territory. I don't know what year and month, three Wang Bing divided into three roads and confronted each other in a dam. The terrain is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and there is only a large field in the north. Anyone who wants to expand northward must pass through this field. In order to reduce casualties, the three kings discussed the method of playing chess. Everyone thought this method was feasible, so they ordered the servants to draw a "king" on their side first, then a "ten" to connect the three kings as the direction of progress, then a "day" to connect the empty ends of the "ten", then a "vertical" and then a "day" on it.

The chessboard draws lots, in which the three kings are represented by stones of different colors or sizes, and one son is placed under the word "king". Everyone is required to hold three or more stones in their hands and move the chess by estimating the number of stones at a time. However, the stones must be tightly hidden in his hand and pulled out with a fist. His guess should be shouted out loudly and his palm should be bright to confirm that whoever guesses the sum of stones will win. In case two people say the same number, it is not heavy, and he must not be lazy. Whoever comes to a fork in the road first, the next time someone wins, he will also come to the first intersection. If he wins the first place, he must give up, return to the original "king" and come back in turn. What is particularly interesting is that when the stone reaches the middle of the lower edge of the word "Tian", it must first go from right to top, then from middle to bottom, and then from middle to vertical. It is inevitable that you will not meet your opponent. Often at this time, winners and losers are very excited, and impatient people will go on the rampage and even cheat. It's just a legend that three bandits fought for the world by playing Tianqi, and finally they won or lost by fighting, but Tianqi stayed. There are only fifteen squares with six pieces in each square. The game is similar to Go. Whoever besieges the other side wins. Are simple and primitive moves like pig's hoof fork chess, dog's egg chess and six-piece chess the beginning of Go?
