Yinyangliao is one of the ancient Japanese government agencies, which belongs to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Zuoyou Bureau, and is in charge of divination, astronomy, observation and judgment of time calendar and related education. Heian period's Yinyangliao is located in Taiji, north of Zheng Tai, west of Chungwu Province and south of Neichi, that is, in the area of Qianben Marutamachi, Shangjing District, Kyoto Prefecture today.
