My suggestion is to start with the Tao Te Ching. The contents of the Book of Changes and the Tao Te Ching are all summarized from the phenomena of observing the universe above, and the core of their similarity is that things are always in a state of change. This state is determined by the positive and negative nature of things. Although Tao Te Ching was born more than 500 years later than Yijing, there is no doubt that its ideological system originated from Yijing. Compared with the Book of Changes, Tao Te Ching is easier for beginners to understand.
