Representative figures of metaphysics in Wei and Jin Dynasties

The main representatives of metaphysics in Wei and Jin Dynasties are Yanhe, Wang Bi, Ruan Ji, Ji Kang, Xiang Xiu and Guo Xiang.

3. Ruan Ji (AD 2 10 ~ 263), a native of Chen Liuwei (now Kaifeng City, Henan Province), was a poet of Wei in the Three Kingdoms period and one of the seven sages of bamboo forest. Worship the learning of Zhuangzi and Zhuangzi, but take a cautious attitude to avoid disasters politically. Jingyuan died in the fourth year (AD 263) at the age of 53. As the representative of "the voice of the right beginning", he wrote 82 songs of My Love and Biography of Mr. Adults. His works were included in Ruan Ji Ji Ji Ji Ji.

4. Ji Kang (AD 224 -263, written in AD 223 -262) was born in Luoxian County (now Suixi County, Anhui Province), a thinker, musician and writer of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period.

In his early years, he married the wife of Changle Pavilion, the great granddaughter of Wei Wudi and Cao Cao, worshipped the official doctor, and awarded the third doctor, known as the "third" in the world. After Sima came to power, he lived in seclusion. In the fourth year of Jingyuan (AD 263), Si Mazhao, a general of the dynasty, was executed for being framed by Zhong Hui, a captain, at the age of 40.

5. Xiang Xiu (about 227-272) was born in Huai County, Hanoi (now Wuzhi County, Henan Province). Wei and Jin writers, one of the seven sages of bamboo forest. Learn elegance, make friends with Ji Kang, Lu An and others, and live in seclusion. In the fourth year of Jingyuan (263), after Ji Kang and Liu An were killed by Si Mazhao, Xiang Xiu went to Luoyang County and was received by Si Mazhao.
