Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Shang Dynasty was written on Oracle Bone Inscriptions in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, also known as Oracle Bone Inscriptions, Wen Qi, Tortoise Shell and Yin Ruins. Oracle Bone Inscriptions, a Shang Dynasty, was first unearthed in the Yin Ruins in Xiaotun Village, Anyang, Henan Province, and was discovered in the 25th year of Guangxu (1899). These words are inscriptions written by Shang Dynasty when tortoise shell bones were used to predict good or bad luck, as well as notes related to divination. They are the relics of Pan Geng who moved to Yin and died in 273, and they are important materials for studying the social history of Shang and Zhou Dynasties. At present, there are about 4500 Oracle characters found, and about 1700 can be recognized. Among recognizable Chinese characters, Oracle Bone Inscriptions is the oldest writing system.
