What are the records about Taiji in the history books?

Closely related to Bayan Kara's stone tablets is China's mysterious Tai Chi map. Since ancient times, people have tried their best and don't know who its author is.

Taiji map, also known as congenital map or natural map of heaven and earth, is the most mysterious and controversial map in ancient China culture.

Although it has been clearly stated in the Book of Changes: "It is easy to have Tai Chi, which is a second instrument." However, none of the Zhouyi handed down after the Han Dynasty is equipped with a Taiji diagram. It was not until the Song Dynasty that Chen Bo, a Taoist priest in Huashan, published the Taiji Map, which was divided into "nature" and "acquired".

Later, Zhou Dunyi, a Neo-Confucianism scholar in the Northern Song Dynasty, wrote an article "Taiji Graph Theory" based on the Taiji diagram transmitted by Chen Bo, which inherited and carried forward the viewpoint of Zhouyi and put forward the philosophical thought of "Infinite Taiji".

It was not until Zhu wrote the original meaning of Zhouyi that Taiji was formally attached to Zhouyi. He saw that without Taiji, Zhouyi was just an ordinary book of divination, and it was impossible to rank first among the classics.

During this period, the new philosopher Shao Yong really studied Taiji Diagram. According to Shao Yong, the innate Taiji diagram was written by Fuxi, and the acquired Taiji diagram was written by Zhou Wenwang. Shao Yong pointed out that there were no words in Fuxi era, but only a Taiji diagram to show the universe and the principle of the transformation of Yin and Yang.

Zhu believes that Taiji Map originated from Wei Boyang's Zhouyi Shentongqi in the Eastern Han Dynasty. There seems to be no doubt that an indirect source of Taiji diagram comes from Taoism.

However, where is the origin of Taiji diagram? Is it really written by Fuxi, as the Book of Changes and Taoism say?

Taiji Diagram and Fuxi

According to modern research, Fuxi may be related to the sun or a constellation in the East. According to historical records, Fuxi and Dragon are closely related.

Mr. Lu, President of the UFO Research Association of Taiwan Province Province, put forward the view that "dragons are flying saucers". Indeed, the dragon, once regarded as a myth and legend, now seems to be re-recognized.

Shuo Wen Jie Zi says that the dragon is the length of all things, which can be dark or bright, long or short, big or small. The vernal equinox flies into the sky and the autumnal equinox dives into the sea.

Now it seems that this dragon with hard armor can be flickering, long and short, big and small, much like the cigar-shaped flying saucer we observed.

So, can we think that Fuxi's "snakehead" is just a symbolic expression, suggesting that Fuxi is a demigod's life and a life directly related to dragons?

If Fuxi is a great sun god, he is Lapras, that is, a flying saucer came to the earth to teach people some knowledge of astronomy and geography, because the wisdom of ancient people has not yet been opened, and in order not to make the advanced civilizations of other planets lost, he left a complete Tai Chi map for future generations to decipher. Therefore, it is not surprising that we see the all-encompassing content of Tai Chi map today.
