Geomantic omen mathematics: acquired gossip figures

The acquired gossip is also called gossip, which is different from innate gossip. The acquired gossip tells about popularity and describes the cycle, such as water popularity, to show that yin and yang are interdependent, mutually rooted, and the five elements of mother and son are born together. The map of the day after tomorrow is the law drawn from the passage of four seasons and the growth of all things. It is said that the acquired gossip comes from Luo Shu, which is used as an intermediary to derive the acquired gossip map.

By analyzing the natural five elements of gossip, we can deduce the acquired gossip with Luo Shu.

Let's first define the natural five elements of gossip, and define its yang value:

Cantaloupe belongs to water, Kungua is wet, and the tree is shaken, which is the wind;

Leaving hexagrams is fire, dry soil, exchange gold after refining hexagrams, and dry gold before refining hexagrams.

Then Yang Ziran defined the value of gossip:

Minimum Yang of Kangua 1, minimum Yang of Kungua 2, minimum Yang of Zhengua 3 and minimum Yang of Yungua 4.

Li Gua belongs to the fire yang, with the highest value of 9, the dry soil of root Gua is 8, the gold after refining is 7, and the gold before refining of Gan Gua is 6.

So I got the number of gossip letters the day after tomorrow:

Kan 1, Kun 2, Zhen 3, Xun 4, Gan 6, Dui 7, Gen 8 and Li Gua 9.

Numbers mean: one hurdle, two kuns, three earthquakes, four rafters, five central palaces, six trunks, seven intersections, eight roots and nine separations.

However, Wang Wen's Beggars' Eight Diagrams the Day After Tomorrow did not break away from the old rules. The reason is that the sun (fire) is above and the earth (water) is below. Fire and water here refer to dry pure yang and Kun pure yin. The day after tomorrow, leaving the fire under the water and living under Kun, there is no substantive difference. It also shows that gossip is on the fire and water is on the ground the day after tomorrow. In nature, Yang rises and Yin falls. The so-called "yang rising" can only be called "rising" when it is "falling". If Yang (fire) is at the top, there is no room for Yang to rise, just a dead fire.
