Oracle bone inscriptions existed in the Shang Dynasty, but Oracle bone inscriptions were only used for divination, and other words in the Shang Dynasty, such as people's lives and notes, were basically left behind. Therefore, it can be inferred that Sima Qian and his former historians will not write the stories of Xia Dynasty and the emperors of Xia Dynasty into the history books like making up novels. Moreover, archaeological discoveries over the years have confirmed the authenticity of historical books such as Historical Records. Therefore, these history books are extremely true.
