How terrible is the sacrificial culture in Shang Dynasty?

As we all know, the sacrifice of the living was popular in Shang Dynasty, and there were sacrifices of the living in other dynasties in China history, but the sacrifice of Shang Dynasty was terrible. Whether it's from the way of killing people, choosing objects, or introducing names and the total number of deaths, it's like a disaster film. They not only kill people, behead them, burn them to death, splash water, cut open their bodies and take out their internal organs, which is extremely cruel.
