Dugu Tianxia tells the story that three daughters, Dugu Xin, Prajna, Galo and Mantuoyin, as important officials, gradually changed from noble families to royal daughters.

The Northern and Southern Dynasties are troubled times, and dynasties are constantly changing. The sage Du of the Northern Zhou Dynasty attracted worldwide attention because of his prediction of "being the only one in the world". He has three daughters under his knee, all of whom are peerless beauties.

Among them, the eldest daughter is lonely and prajnaparamita, bent on becoming the future queen and realizing the prophecy of being alone in the world. For this reason, she did not hesitate to abandon love and marry into the Northern Zhou royal family. But after becoming the most outstanding woman in the world, she died unexpectedly in childbirth. Affected by this incident, Du Guxin was persecuted by his political enemies. In order to save the whole family, he had to commit suicide, and Du Guxin was defeated.

The second daughter, Dugu Mantuo, is greedy for money and doesn't want to marry her fiance, Sui Wendi. Instead, she stole her sister's fiance and married Tang Guogong Li Fang. Later, she gave birth to Li Yuan and became the mother of the Tang Dynasty. However, Dugu Jialuo, a young girl who finally took over the responsibility of guarding Dugu's family in the stormy weather, has been stubbornly living in troubled times with her wisdom and perseverance.

Her feelings with Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty gradually evolved from a political marriage at the beginning to a mutual understanding, and the loving couple finally joined hands to unify the whole country and became the founding emperor of Da Sui.

Behind the scenes production

The play is based on Dugu Galo. Dugugalo is topical and controversial. She is not only called the first person who advocated monogamy in the history of China, but also defined by historians as "the queen of a virtuous princess" and "the queen of a poisonous woman".

Both the official history and unofficial history recorded the following stories: Emperor Wen of Sui made a promise of "no children and no daughters" to Dugu Galo; After Dugugalo assisted Emperor Wendi in establishing the Sui Dynasty, Emperor Wendi created a historical record for her-Dugugalo became the first queen in China history to personally participate in the establishment of the female official system.

The play was shot in Han Jie, Qin king Palace, Chunqiu (Tang) Garden and Huangdi Temple at the foot of Dinghu Mountain in Xiandu Scenic Area. In the play, the scene of the mourning hall for people related to yangfu was set in the Qin Palace, the prime minister's mansion, while the former hall, Qin Palace, was changed into a mourning hall.

In order to better present the scenes in the play, the crew has created more than ten luxurious scenes and dozens of unique and exquisite scattered scenes. In addition, the crew also specially set up six main scenes for shooting.
