Kun gua: born, prosperous, suitable for consolidation like a mare. When a gentleman acts, he will be lost if he takes the first step, and will be guided by his master if he takes the second step. The southwest has the advantage of getting friends, and the northeast has the advantage of losing friends. Being steady and upright will bring good luck.

Kun is the second divination in Zhouyi, ranking second only to Gan. From the perspective of divination, doing is heaven and doing is father; Kun is the land and the mother. Gankun is the origin of all things.

Yuan Youzhen has four virtues, and Kun also has four virtues of chastity. The difference is that doing is the forerunner and Kun is the follower.

Dry element is creation, while Kun element is generation. Gan decides what seed it is, and Kun lets it take root.

Chastity (integrity) means that the operation of heaven is unbiased and will never change. Kun's chastity (integrity) is to be consistent with heaven and always fit in with the tacit understanding. Therefore, Kun's "chastity" has an unchanging meaning.
