brief Introduction of the content

In view of the great influence of Confucianism on China and even the world, it is the motivation to express and describe the topics of The Scholar series in the form of biographies, and to interpret the trajectory of Confucianism with specific Confucian scholars as symbolic points. Accordingly, after deliberation and discussion, it is determined that the time is up to ancient times, and the candidates are based on ten kinds and eleven kinds of people. The eleven characters are: Monk, Gou Kuang, Dong Zhongshu, Cheng Yi, Zhu, Gu, Huang Zongxi and Wang Fuzhi. The specific title depends on the most popular title of the master. Of course, it is not easy for these candidates to make specific choices, but they have spent a lot of effort and thought.

These words alone made him break out in a cold sweat. Want to ask again, Cai Daoshi smiled and hung down his hand and walked away, completely unlike Taoist figures, but showing the true colors of rivers and lakes.

However, Shouren is still unwilling. It is said that there is a stranger in the cave, who can't get out of the cave. He sits on the couch, lays down a mat and eats without making a fire. So I went over the mountains and found the cave. When I entered the cave, I found a man sleeping on the slate. Shouren stood for a long time, but the man still slept soundly. Seeing that it was getting late, Shouren had to wake the man up. The man turned over and asked, "The mountain road is rugged. How did you come? " Shouren didn't explain much, just asked the way of keeping in good health. The man answered irrelevant questions and talked about the way of sages. Shouren felt strange and asked each other with the theory of Song Confucianism. The man was at a loss about Cheng Yi and Zhu. When asked about Zhou Dunyi and Cheng Hao, he praised: "Xi and Cheng are two good scholars of Confucianism." Shouren wants to ask again, this man has fallen asleep.

The contact with Yin Jixian and the adventure with Jiuhuashan, seemingly accidental, are actually showing some changes in Shouren's own understanding. Although both unkempt Taoist priests and Tibetan cavemen are scattered in the rivers and lakes, they are not interested in observing the health of the benevolent. One suggested that he devote himself to his official career and learn the Holy Way, while the other suggested that he learn from Lianxi and Ming Dow to be a good Confucian scholar. Although Yin Jixian taught him to keep in good health, he didn't accept him as a disciple. Why did the previous monks, Taoists and other Jianghu artists always talk to him about health preservation, but this time they all talked about learning to be holy? Is Buddhism and Taoism influenced Ding Shouren, or is Buddhism and Taoism attached to Shouren?

Of course, at this time, the idea of observing benevolence is still contradictory. If you are obsessed with Buddhism, there should be no unkempt Taoist priests and Tibetan cavemen; If the enterprising spirit is vigorous, the picture of the four old Go in Jiuhuashan shows the yearning for the immortal life:

When the world is blurred,

But I'm pregnant with Liu Xiang's past.

At this point, the wind has caused future generations to think.

Might as well play chess in the mountains.

Yangming cave knows Buddha

Come down from Jiuhua Mountain. In May of the fifteenth year of Hongzhi, Shouren returned to Beijing. He seems a little disgusted with life in Beijing. Still the same friend, the same thing, he felt that he should calm down and think seriously. But he had no time to think and choose, so he had to burn the midnight oil. I don't want to be overtired and get sick again. He thought of his hometown Yuyao, which is a beautiful world and a free space. He should go back to live for a while, maybe he will get something else.

So, Shouren submitted his first leave of absence after becoming an official, on the grounds that he had been ill. This time I was imprisoned in Jiangbei, and I was overworked, which led to the recurrence of my old illness. In addition, he and his father are both working in Beijing, and his grandmother Cen is over 80 years old, so he asked to return to his hometown in Yuyao to recuperate and be filial to his grandmother. Rulers of past dynasties advocated filial piety, and only when there are dutiful sons at home can the country have loyal ministers. As Shouren proposed to take care of his illness and relatives, the leave was quickly approved.

Shouren bid farewell to his father and returned to Yuyao. Although my grandmother is 84 years old, she is still in good health, and it is even more refreshing to see Shouren go home.

Shouren returned to Yuyao this time, one is to recuperate, and the other is to clean up his mind seriously. I've always liked whimsy since I was a child. I want to go in and out of the Buddha's old age and stay healthy and live a long life. I want to follow Li Su's words and follow the example of Confucius and Mencius. Now that I am over 30 years old, I should stand up, but I have been wandering all day and accomplished nothing. When I came to Yuyao, I really got rid of common affairs and entertainment, but I still felt that there were many people and my mood was difficult to calm down. The ancients said that to recover from illness, you should first raise your heart and find a quiet place.

On the outskirts of Yuyao, there is a secluded place with beautiful scenery and few people. To Shouren's surprise, there is a cave on the sunny hillside, which is deep and quiet. It is very similar to the underground cave seen in Jiuhua Mountain. Shouren ordered the cave to be cleaned up, and the book cover was moved, so that a master and a servant could live here that night.

Ready, Shouren stood at the mouth of the cave, overlooking the mountains, full of green, the mountain breeze slowly. The setting sun shines directly at the mouth of the cave, which is refreshing. Reflect the cave brightly, just like a fairyland. Shouren was so happy that he named the cave "Yangming Cave". In addition to his real name, Shouren only has the word "Boan", which has not been numbered. At that time, Su Shi devoted himself to Dongpo and Huangzhou, taking Dongpo as his name. Now, Shouren got the name of Dong Yangming, that is, he called himself "Yangming" in the name of Dong, also known as "Yangming Zi".

Shouren was thin from childhood, and later he was infected with lung disease because he studied too hard. Besides, he had many adventures. He is either a fortune teller or a monk, so he is very interested in Taoist health preservation. After living in Yangming Cave, they all ate and lived as their own servants, while Shouren began to study Buddhist and Taoist classics and practice self-guidance, hoping to achieve the goal of keeping healthy and getting rid of diseases by nourishing the heart.

The introduction mentioned by the ancients is also a kind of health preservation, that is, physical therapy through regular breathing and body movements, which is very similar to what people say today, that is, qigong and self-massage. There is a school of Taoism called "Tuna School". It is named after breathing and practicing qi. In ancient China, emperors, literati and Taoists mostly communicated with each other in order to learn how to preserve health and live longer. Famous literati Li Bai and Su Shi are very interested in health preservation. Mencius criticized Su Shi's Zhu all his life, and he was also keen on this technique in his later years. I was always a vegetarian, so I died of gangrene on my back. It can be seen that fashion, sages are inevitable.

Unlike Li Bai, Su Shi, Zhu and other middle-aged or elderly people who began to practice health preservation, Shouren began to contact health preservation when he was young, so he was more experienced and liked mystery. After a period of meditation in Yangming Cave, Shouren's condition has improved, claiming to be able to predict the prophet, which is quite a bit like sage like type.

One day, while sitting in Yangming Cave, Shouren suddenly told his servant that it was a whim. Four friends, including Wang Siyu, visited them and asked the servants to meet them on the road. Servant with a grain of salt, dare not disobey, had to dawdle all the way. I didn't expect to meet four people on the road. When I asked, I went to Yangming Cave to visit Shouren. Ask the origin of the name again, as Shouren said, it is Wang Siyu and others. The servant was frightened and quickly explained his purpose. Hearing this, the four guests were all shocked and decided that they were practicing immortality, otherwise they would never have known their arrival, let alone their purpose. Wang Siyu and others followed the servant to see Shouren. As soon as we met, we asked why we could predict, and we kept our mouths shut and avoided answering. After returning home, the four men preached the truth of benevolence everywhere. But Shouren was laughing to himself. If you don't know that there are four people visiting in advance, where can you really go?

This event, which was later widely publicized by Wang Men's disciples, is probably just the beginning of Shouren's real understanding of Buddhism and Taoism. Since you can fool others easily with this trick, others can fool themselves with this trick. Yin Jixian, Cai Daoshi and the talents in underground caves are truly trustworthy. Looking back, I met a Taoist priest in the streets of Beijing: 7. The Taoist priest of Tiezhu Palace in Nanchang never intended to guide him to learn Buddhism and human nature. One made him a saint, and the other taught him to keep in good health. The former is determination, and the latter is for fitness. People didn't mistake me, I mistook my ears. If, because of different ideas, people hide in the mountains and monks are the Tao, or if Taoist Cai agrees to his own request and accepts himself as an apprentice, where will he put his grandmother and father and the people of the whole country?

In the second year, Shouren, who was freed from Buddhism and Taoism, left Yangming Cave and went to Hangzhou West Lake. Unlike Yangming Cave, which is almost isolated from the world, West Lake is the most beautiful place in the world. A "West Lake Drunken Man Book" shows his mentality at that time:

The lake is beautiful and the sunshine is good. The word is said to be true.

There are guests in the scene, but there are no real paintings on earth.

The wind in the stream is about to rain, the trees on the embankment are singing, and the spring water is newly added.

The twin peaks in the north and south lead to happiness, and drunken bamboos don't need help.

brief Introduction of the content

Wang Yangming's theory of conscience is a mature form of the development of the theory of good nature since Mencius. Its so-called conscience mainly has three meanings: moral standard, moral subject and existence itself. Yangming believes that conscience is purely innate. In fact, different meanings of conscience have their own origins. On the whole, conscience is acquired, but this does not prevent it from playing an important role in moral cultivation. Yangming has a clear understanding of the relativity and absoluteness of good and evil. Its so-called evil generally refers to selfish desires, which is a negative moral judgment made from the standpoint of social subjects. Yang Ming believes that only by eliminating evil (that is, "breaking the thief") can individuals get real happiness, have the hope of becoming saints, and achieve stability and harmony in society. His way of self-cultivation is characterized by eliminating evil, which mainly includes determination, transformation, meditation, practice, abstinence from fear and integration of knowledge and practice. Yangming not only attaches great importance to his own elimination of evil, but also attaches great importance to human elimination of evil, so he attaches great importance to enlightenment. There are three main ways to educate them: education, announcement and township agreement. Conscience theory still has great value in modern society. It is not only the best resource for building a correct philosophy, but also plays an active role in the process of building a harmonious socialist society.

Young people are talented, but their careers are frustrated. They are bent on becoming sages. Once wandering between Buddhism and Taoism, I finally had an epiphany in Confucianism. Although he was framed for falling into the dragon field, he was not depressed. He founded a college and accepted students' lectures. Appointed by the imperial court to quell the rebellion, showing military and organizational skills. Wang Yangming is an advocate and practitioner of Confucianism. His theory of mind and nature occupies an important position in the history of China's philosophy. A clever teenager, an ambitious young man, a bumpy middle-aged man and a strong old man, his life embodies the demeanor of a great scholar. This book tells the legendary life of Wang Yangming, the founder of Xue Xin.

brief Introduction of the content

A nation, if it exists, must have its reasons for existence; The reproduction of a culture must also have its reproduction. The Chinese nation and culture have existed and multiplied for more than five thousand years. During this period, although there were wars and disasters in this land, literati often lamented. However, no tyrant or robber can cut off the toughest bones and muscles in our culture. These bones and muscles have long been cast into the spirit of a nation.

This small set of "humanities books" describes the speeches and deeds of 15 characters from Confucius to Hu Shi in simple and vivid language. They are the main shapers of our national spirit. If we know them, we will be proud of our national culture. Following them will enrich our lives.

"Nobleness" was not cultivated in a day.

Everyone has to grow up, and on the way to growth, we sometimes ask ourselves: What kind of person will we be in the future?

Whether the answer is a scientist or an artist, in the final analysis, it is still two words-success. However, most of us are mortal after all, so people who can make great achievements are always rewarded by the amazing mentality of "stopping at the top of the mountain and stopping at the scene". In the vast history, there are indeed such great men, who can be literate or martial, leaving precious wealth for future generations. Among them, there is such a kind of people whose contribution is intangible, but it really affects future generations. Even the whole of China and the world. All they have is "thoughts". And we also give them a title that ordinary people can't have-"philosopher".

Confucius is such a person, Mencius is such a person, and today, the hero of our story is such a great person. He is Wang Yangming, a generation of master of mind who enjoys equal fame with Zhu Cheng's Neo-Confucianism. He lived in the Ming Dynasty, so it's neither far nor near. Let's start with his ancestors.

In the stories of celebrities we have heard, many of them started from the embarrassment of family and the misery of childhood, which is called success in adversity. However, Mr Wang Yangming is different. Wang Langya, where he belongs, is a famous family in history. Since ancient times, there have been many talented people, the most famous of which is Wang Xizhi, a calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, who is known as the "sage of books". Although the descendants declined, they showed signs of recovery in the Ming Dynasty and moved to Yuyao, Zhejiang.

Wang Yangming's sixth ancestor, Wang Gang, has a common character and a common character. Wang Gang has two younger brothers, Bing Chang and Jing Chang. All three brothers are famous for their literature. Wang Xing often has not only literary talent, but also military talent. In particular, he has one specialty, that is, he is good at knowing people. At the end of Yuan Dynasty, the situation was chaotic. In order to escape the war, he and his mother settled in Mount Wuxie. One night, a Taoist wanted to stay. Sexually, he often thinks that he has a special appearance, so he respects him politely and asks his name. The Taoist said: I am a hermit. My name is Zhao. They talked about it all night, and Governor Zhao Yu 'an taught Wang Xing the method of divination. And tell him that there should be a celebrity among your descendants, but you will eventually die in a foreign country. Why don't you travel with me now? Sex often feels that her mother is old and a little embarrassed. The Taoist priest said with a smile, "I know that the relationship between the public and the vulgar is not broken." And left.
