Bud's nightmare

Bud's nightmare is one of the Nordic masterpieces Eda, which tells the story of Bud's nightmare. Bud is god of light, Odin's son. Bud had a nightmare and had a premonition that he would be assassinated. All the gods of asir tribe were frightened by this omen. Odin, the Lord God, disguised himself as hell and asked the fortune teller for exact information. At the border of hell, Odin woke up the dead prophetess for questioning. The fortune teller told me that Bud would soon be shot by his twin brother hoddle, the god of darkness. Odin's questioning revealed clues, so the female soothsayer refused to say more.

God of light Bader was shot and killed by hoddle, the god of darkness. This is an omen warning sent by the goddess of fate to the families of the gods, reminding them that the end is coming. But the asir tribe turned a deaf ear to this.
