What do you mean by "six hexagrams of shaoyang and shaoyin" and "Lao Yang Laoyin"?

Among the six hexagrams, Shaoyang, Shaoyin, Lao Yang and Laoyin are four stages that indicate the change of yin and yang.

Shaoyang: The expression of "Yang" has just appeared, with Yin below and Yang above, which symbolizes that things have just formed and are in the development stage.

Shaoyin: the expression of "Yin" has just appeared, with Yang below and Yin above, which symbolizes that things have just formed and are in the development stage.

Lao Yang: Everything is Yang, and the representation of "Yang" has reached the extreme. If it continues to develop, it will become less cloudy.

Old Yin: It is full of Yin from top to bottom, and the representation of "Yin" has reached the extreme. If it continues to develop, it will become less sunny.

These four stages constitute a complete process of yin and yang change, similar to the alternation of four seasons and the cycle of life. Not only is the existence of all things in the world not a simple binary opposition, but the development and change of things themselves are not only in two States of life and death, but also in at least three stages: emergence, development and extinction. This phenomenon of yin and yang changes can be expressed by eight diagrams, namely, heaven, earth, water, fire, wind, thunder, mountains and ze, which represent different attributes and phenomena of everything.
