What did the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics prove?

They demonstrated the potential of entangled particles through groundbreaking experiments. The development of experimental tools by these three winners also laid the foundation for a new era of quantum technology.

The foundation of quantum science is only a theoretical or philosophical problem. It is closely related to the sub-computer, improved measurement, sub-network and sub-encrypted communication which are developing intensively all over the world by using the special properties of single particle system.

The above applications all depend on how to allow two or more particles to exist in the state of * * * *, even if separated by mountains.

It's called entanglement.

Since the theory was put forward, it has been one of the most controversial contents in sub-research.

Two pairs of entangled particles are emitted from different sources. One particle in each pair is entangled with each other in a special way and gathered together. Then, the other two particles (1 and 4 in the figure) are also entangled. In this way, two particles that have never been in contact can be entangled.

Albert Einstein said it was "ghostly action at a distance", while Erwin Schr?dinger said it was the most important feature of Zi Xue.

This year's winners explored the substorms of these entanglements. Their experiments have cleared the way for new technologies based on quantum information and laid the foundation for the ongoing sub-technological revolution.
