Pig Bajie is the messenger of the net altar. Is the messenger a bodhisattva?

Pig Bajie was named Tathagata as the net altar messenger because of "eating". It is a tribute to the management of the Tathagata, which should be equivalent to the current treasury administrator and so on.

The origin of the name

The net talk messenger is just a name that the author came up with. We all know that there are things like melon and fruit sacrifices in temples. These things are for the gods they worship, such as Master Guanyin, and the table is dedicated to Master Guanyin. In fact, we can see a detail in The Journey to the West. When Tang Priest and his disciples arrived in Fengxian County, they found that it hadn't rained for many years, and the Monkey King asked for help. It turned out that the Jade Emperor built Mianshan and Mi Mountain in the sky, and there were iron locks baked by kerosene lamps, saying that only dogs licked Mianshan and chickens pecked Mi Mountain. As we all know, the Jade Emperor did this because he saw the princess of Fengxian offering sacrifices to him. He wanted to eat the offering, but the princess knocked over the altar, which made the jade emperor very angry. We all know the consequences.
