There is xenophobia in the house.

At the beginning of the Year of the Rat, an "COVID-19" epidemic changed the living habits of all of us. I used to be a homesick person, but now I am more homesick.

I used to stay at home, but now I'm not used to going out. I seem to be suffering from xenophobia. Because I didn't go out for too long, I finally stayed up late to go out. I thought I would be ecstatic to go out and exercise my brain!

However, this is not the case. Instead of rejoicing as expected, I became swayed by considerations of gain and loss. I'm afraid of meeting people and touching things. I always remind people to keep their distance from me. I'm afraid of touching anything with bacteria. It seems that there are germs that make people "recruited" everywhere outside, and even the exhaled air has doubts. Dare not breathe boldly, dare not breathe boldly, and be alert everywhere. I was so careful that I even endured the itch.

Nothing seems to have changed, but, really, everything can't be the same!

Now that you and I meet, we both have eyes.

When I went out to meet acquaintances, I smiled naturally as usual. However, it suddenly occurred to me that I was wearing a mask, and others could not see the upturned expression on my mouth. They dare not pat each other on the shoulder casually, nor have the courage to hug each other. Even if I don't mind, I'm afraid others will mind, so I always keep a certain distance from people. Although I can say hello loudly, it is difficult for an already shy person to talk loudly, and there are social obstacles. Therefore, I always feel that staying at home is more comfortable than going out for a walk. Besides, with only a pair of eyes, I can't seem to identify other people's likes and dislikes, and I can't see through their attitude towards me. Therefore, I seem at a loss and don't know how to communicate with people. I'm afraid I really have "xenophobia"!

Now, I don't stay at home because I am obedient, but I stay at home voluntarily.

So the worst and most dangerous epidemic may have passed, but what we can't get through is our psychological trauma, which should take a long time to heal.

As the saying goes, "illness comes like a mountain, and illness goes like reeling", and you and I feel the same way!
