History of Yingshan County, Nanchong City, Sichuan Province

Geographical location: yingshan county belongs to Nanchong City, Sichuan Province, located in the northeast of Sichuan Basin, between Jialing River and Qujiang River Basin. It is the east gate of Nanchong, the hometown of Xiaoping, the chief architect of reform and opening up in the south, the former residence of Marshal Zhu De, the founding father in the north, Dachuan in the east, Guang 'an Chongqing in the south, Nanchong Chengdu in the west and Qinchuan in Bazhong in the north. It has always been the economic and cultural center of northeast Sichuan.

History: Since the Tang Dynasty, Jianxian County 1400 years. In the fifth year of the Northern Song Dynasty, Langchi County was renamed yingshan county, which was named after the rolling hills around the county seat. 1950 yingshan county belongs to Nanchong District Commissioner's Office, which is the administrative exclusive of North Sichuan District. 1980 was changed to Nanchong, and Yingshan was still the county under its jurisdiction.

Introduction: The county covers an area of 1.633 square kilometers, and has jurisdiction over 53 townships and 1 sub-district offices, including white pagoda park, Cuiping Park, Xiyue Lake Park, Langchi Wetland Park and Taipeng Mountain Scenic Area. It has successively won the titles of Top 100 Eco-tourism Counties in China, National Science and Technology Advanced Counties, National Grain Production Advanced Counties, National Public Hospital Reform Pilot Counties and National Rare Tree Species Cultivation Demonstration Counties.
