Introduction of Yunfeng Mountain Scenic Area

Yunfeng Mountain Scenic Area is located in Bulaotun Town, north of Miyun Reservoir, three kilometers north of Luo Yan Village, between two scenic spots in Miyun County, east of Miyun Gubeikou-Simatai Great Wall-Wuling Mountain Scenic Area, west of Yunmeng Mountain Scenic Area, more than 30 kilometers away from Miyun County, with convenient transportation. This kind of landscape in which temples and forests echo and coordinate is rare in Beijing. This is the beauty of Yunfeng Jingling.

Yunfeng Mountain Scenic Area is located 3 kilometers north of Luo Yan Village, Bulaotun Town, Miyun County, Beijing, and 60 kilometers away from Miyun County. It is a national AAA scenic spot. The Yunfeng Mountain in the scenic spot, which was called Chaojuan Mountain in ancient times, is 675 meters above sea level, and is rich in scenery, cultural relics and touching legends. On the mountain, you can overlook the panoramic view of Miyun Reservoir, with blue sky, vast smoke waves and endless poetry.

There are three steps and one scene on Yunfeng Mountain, and cultural relics are gathered together. The oldest and largest cliff stone carving in Beijing, the ancient temple "Sheng Chao Temple" built in the Sui Dynasty and the ingenious "Guanyin Cave" are all hidden in it. Thousands of years of morning bells and drums and thousands of years of incense are flourishing, making Yunfeng Mountain famous far and near. There are tens of thousands of lavender plants in Yunfeng Mountain, which is the best lavender viewing base in Beijing at present. When lavender is in full bloom, the whole valley is full of purple flowers, full of amorous feelings of southern France. Here, visitors can taste the unique vanilla dining, experience various lavender DIY crafts, and feel the slow life and relaxed state of mind.

Climate: The annual average temperature is 7-9 degrees. In summer, Yunfeng Mountain is cool and pleasant, especially near Sheng Chao Temple. In summer, the temperature is 2-3 degrees lower than that below the mountain.

Guanyin cave, also known as Chaoyang cave, is a perfect combination of nature and human landscape. The mountain road from Sheng Chao Temple to Guanyin Cave is one of the top ten scenic spots in Yunfeng Mountain. It climbed 1 10 stone steps and came to Chaoyang Cave. Standing in front of the cave, overlooking the cliff carvings on Dongshan Cliff, you can have a panoramic view. This is a natural granite cave, with a depth of12m, a width of 6m and a height of 7m. The cave body is complete and the top is dome-shaped. One side of the cave wall is sunken inward, like a side hall. The entrance of the cave is made of stone pillars overlapping into stone gates, with a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the middle. Every year, the local residents of this cave help the old and bring the young together to make pilgrimages, sometimes reaching thousands. There is a stone tablet with an inscription outside the cave. Shang Shufan of the Ministry of War of Qing Dynasty appreciated the elegance and magic of Yunfeng Mountain very much. He lingered here, and his poems were full of enthusiasm. He happily wrote "Poems on Ten Scenes of Yunfeng Mountain", which became the eternal swan song of the beautiful scenery of Yunfeng Mountain.

Jing Ling Moya Stone Carving Group

Behind the Sheng Chao Temple in this scenic spot is a north-south canyon, and the stone carvings around the Sheng Chao Temple are "Jing Ling", "Cang Yuping", "Yunfeng Mountain" and "Beyond the Dust" respectively. The first two groups carved stones earlier and no signatures were found. The signature of "dust reward" is "Shenyang Fan Chengxun", the minister of war in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. Stone carving is about 1 m. According to Mr. Wang Jingkui, the cliff stone carving in Yunfeng Mountain has complete fonts, balanced structure, graceful strength and flexibility, like a grand view of calligraphy art.

Pumen bridge

On the way to Guanyin Cave, you will also pass through two historic sites, Pumen Bridge and Pan Yun Road. Among them, Pumen Bridge is one of the ten scenic spots of the old Yunfeng, and it is an ancient bridge with a long history, and its year number can no longer be tested. Fan Shang, a minister of the Ministry of War in the Qing Dynasty, admired the elegance and magic of Yunfeng Mountain. When visiting this place, he lingered and wrote "Ten Poems of Yunfeng Mountain", which became the eternal swan song of Yunfeng Mountain's beauty.

Five Dhyani Buddhas Tower

Five Dhyani Buddhas Tower is located on the top of the mountain to the north of Guanyin Pavilion. The tower is about five meters high, and the word "bright heart" is engraved on the tower, which symbolizes the good weather, the country and the people. The reason why Buddhism built the pagoda is mentioned in ancient books. "Long Agama" says: "The pagoda temple stands on Siqu Road, and the table is hung, so that all pedestrians can see the pagoda and yearn for Buddhism to become king." The tower was built so as not to forget the teachings of the Buddha. Fa Zhu Yuan Lin said that Anta has three meanings: (1) to show people victory-praise highly respected people; (2) convince him-let people see the tower and have faith; (3) Gratitude Buddha-Gratitude Buddha and Teacher. [2] This is a concrete explanation of the role of the tower in the original meridian. The wise master thinks that the tower is "the realm of reality, and the dharma body depends on it." [3] The stupa can reflect the Buddha's dharma body, because it not only hides the Buddha's biological relics, but also hides the Buddha's dharma body (scriptures), and it also has the same status as the Buddha statue and Buddhist scriptures.
