Where does Tuwang Temple belong?

Tuwang Temple is a cultural tourist attraction.

Tuwang Temple is located in Laosicheng Village, Lingxi Town, Yongshun County. It is a part of the Tusi King Palace in the ancient four cities, located at the last entrance of the palace, and dedicated to the ancestors of the Tusi King. Other buildings in the Tusi Palace have been destroyed, leaving only this Tuwang Temple. Existing buildings were built in Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in Qing Dynasty.

The Tuwang Temple was built on a high platform and divided into two entrances, an entrance and a wing. The gate is made of all-wood structure, wooden frame and wooden board wall. The entrance is sunken and both sides protrude forward. The wooden column below is overhead, in the shape of a diaojiao building, and the long steps lead directly to the gate. The wing is made of blue bricks with two floors and square windows. This part was built in the Qing dynasty, and the doors and windows are in western style.

There is a long and narrow horizontal patio between forward and backward, and there is a stone tablet in the middle of the patio. Behind the monument is the main hall. The main hall is tall and spacious, with strong beams and columns. The houses that enter the door are equipped with attached beams, which are engraved with words and record some information of the builders. The overhanging eaves of the main hall are special, not inserted on the stigma, but placed on the forehead to lift the eaves. The ceiling between the golden column and the eaves column is beautifully decorated and exquisite in craftsmanship. At the back of the main hall, there is a long high platform against the wall, which is the place for offering sacrifices to the shrine. Here, the gods of the Tusi King and his ancestors are enshrined. The narrow courtyard in front of the temple is filled with soft sunshine, creating a mysterious atmosphere in the empty hall.
