Brief introduction of Shaanxi scenic spots of Guandi Temple (main hall) in Hancheng, Weinan

In Xiaoyi Village, hancheng city. Guandi Temple (main hall) is a hall dedicated to Guan Yu, the general of Shu State.

Guan Yu, whose name is Yunchang, is from Xiezhou, Hedong. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, he fled to Zhuo Jun. After he became sworn with Liu Bei and Zhang Fei, he started with his righteous brother Liu Bei. In the fifth year of Jian 'an (200 years), Emperor Liu Xie of the Eastern Han Dynasty was defeated by Cao Cao and Guan Yu was captured. He received great honor and was named the Tinghou of Hanshou. In the 19th year of Jian 'an (2 14), he stayed in Jingzhou. In the twenty-fourth year of Jian 'an (2 19), he lost Jingzhou and was defeated and killed. His loyalty was deified by the rulers of past dynasties, and he was honored as Guan Gong, named Guan Di and called Wu Sheng.

The main hall of Guandi Temple was built in Yuan Dynasty, which is spacious and generous.

It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province.
