The most populous town is Du Town, Dongyang City. According to the data of the seventh national census in 2020, Du Town of Dongyang City is the largest and most populous town in Hengyang City. Hengyang, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province, a sub-central city at the provincial level, and a national Class II big city, is located in the south of China and the south-central part of Hunan Province.
