The development of history

The name of Jianping County began in the 30th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1904). Because of its jurisdiction over Jianchang (now Lingyuan) and Pingquan (now Pingquan County, Hebei Province), its capital was named "Jianping". Although the location of/kloc-0 was moved from Jianping to Yebaishou in July, 1954, the name of Jianping County was still used.
