Located in the corner of Beijing Road Commercial Pedestrian Street, the Great Buddha Temple has the view of Hongya Cave and the scenery of Spirited Away. The Buddha Temple can pray for blessings, but it cannot ask for symbols.

The Great Buddha Temple was built in the Southern Han Dynasty and named Xinzang Temple, which is the number of 28 places in the Southern Han Dynasty. Seven Buddhist temples have been built in four directions in the southeast and northwest of Yangcheng, collectively known as the "Twenty-eight temples in South Han Dynasty". With the passage of time and the replacement of dynasties, most of the original "Twenty-eight Halls" have stopped ringing, so there is no inspection. Only this vein survived the disaster and has been passed down to this day, especially the vicissitudes of life. 1993, the Guangzhou municipal government announced the Giant Buddha Temple as a "municipal cultural relics protection unit".
