This is a religious painting, but the bodhisattva in it is clearly the image of Emperor Qianlong. Everyone is watching the white elephant being washed, and that white elephant is the mount of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra. Besides Emperor Qianlong, there are several people with portrait characteristics in the painting, which should be painted by Lang Shining. The lines and lines of the characters' clothes are very distinctive, which should be written by Ding. Ding is the only one who signed the painting. In fact, European painters should be involved. In the lower left corner of the picture frame, it reads: "In June of the 15th year of Qianlong, it was painted by Minister Ding". Describe the excitement of Chinese New Year in rural areas, firecrackers, Taiping drums, fruit, bird and fish stalls, performers from all walks of life, such as monkey traders, fortune tellers, boatmen, puppet shows, etc. Under the pine tree, a gentleman sat drinking tea and chatting. The red lacquer dish is made of teapot and blue-and-white bowl, and the green flowerpot and teapot are used to hold spring water. Porters used blue and white bowls and plates engraved with red dragons to hold cakes, which were used by the court during the Qianlong period. It can be seen that artists who buy and sell in the street are all dressed up by imperial secretaries.
