Who knows that the person who went to the warehouse to get the red candle returned empty-handed, and the report said: "The pair of big red candles sent by Chiyou were bitten by mice, and the candles were filled with gunpowder!"

It turned out that Chiyou couldn't beat the Yellow Emperor, so he pretended to give in and sent this pair of red wax as a gift in an attempt to kill the Yellow Emperor while he was burning incense, so that he could rule the world. Fortunately, the big red candle was bitten by a mouse in advance, exposing the evil plot of Chiyou. The Yellow Emperor believed that the mouse had made great contributions, which not only saved the lives of me and my ministers, but also made the important event of choosing animals go smoothly. Therefore, it was suggested that the mouse should be named the first of the 12 zodiac animals. Cang Xie and other officials agreed, and so did other animals.

The sun rises, the palace gate is wide open, gongs and drums are ringing, and phase selection begins. Cang Xie even called "Mouse" several times, but no one answered. The Yellow Emperor quickly sent someone to look around and found it in the corner of the warehouse. When it woke up, it thought that the Yellow Emperor had sent someone to catch it and asked it about the crime of destroying candles. It scared Man Ku to flee everywhere. It was not until people explained the reason that it happily entered the palace to choose, so Cang Xie pressed the ugly cow.

From then on, cats hated mice. As soon as they see them, they will go after them. When they catch them, they will eat them to death. At the same time, cats always "wash their faces" with their claws and pay great attention to dressing themselves. After they catch all the mice, they want to add themselves to the list of the zodiac. In order to facilitate people to check and compare the time and the zodiac, the Yellow Emperor ordered Cang Xie to engrave the Zodiac Map on a giant stone tablet in Lishan in the order of the zodiac, and this Zodiac Map has been preserved to this day.
