Cliff mouth floating color

The floating color of cliff mouth originated from the custom of "dressing as a bodhisattva" in Qing Dynasty, which has been circulating for more than 300 years. It is a collection of people and things of smelting, machinery and plastic arts, embroidery, painting and other folk arts. In 2008, the floating color of Yakou was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council for its profound cultural heritage and good protection and inheritance.

Every year on the sixth day of the fifth lunar month, the "Dragon King's Birthday" is the day when a floating color tour is held at Yakou. Celebrating the Future, Collecting Herbs in Liu Chen, Guanyin Fu Nezha and other 40 boards are vivid and exquisite, with a top card in front of each floating color and an umbrella behind it. The color core is full of vitality, and the skirt is fluttering, accompanied by dragon and lion dances and various national dance acrobatics.

Gold is a unique color in autumn, but in Yakou village, gold means harvest and busyness. The newly harvested rice was transported to the threshing floor, dried repeatedly, and finally boxed and put into storage, and the field work for one year was almost over. On the threshing floor, there are bursts of grain fragrance, depicting a beautiful picture of the hard work of the people of Yakou for thousands of years.
