Why doesn't Yangluo admit that it belongs to Xinzhou?

Yangluo does not recognize it as a part of Xinzhou, which may be due to the following reasons:

1. Yangluo is located in Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is one of the far urban areas of Wuhan. It is located on the north bank of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in Wuhan, facing Ezhou across the river. Administratively, it is under the jurisdiction of Xinzhou District, Wuhan. But Yangluo was once an independent county-level administrative region in history, with its own government and administrative divisions. This historical background may lead to the relatively weak sense of belonging of Yangluo people to Xinzhou.

2. Yangluo was once a part of Xinzhou County, but 1998, Xinzhou County was revoked and merged into Wuhan City. Since then, Yangluo has become a part of Xinzhou District, Wuhan. This process may lead some people in Yangluo to think that their historical and cultural ties with Xinzhou have been separated, thus causing resistance to admit that they are a part of Xinzhou.

3. In addition, Yangluo is relatively independent from other areas in Xinzhou District in terms of geographical location and economic development, which may also lead some people in Yangluo to be more inclined to identify with their own regional culture and identity psychologically than to admit that they are a part of Xinzhou.

In a word, Yangluo does not recognize it as a part of Xinzhou, which may be due to the comprehensive influence of many factors such as history, culture and economy.
