Details of Li Yu, Queen of Southern Tang Dynasty

Li Yu (937-978), whose real name was Zhong Yin, was born in Xuzhou. The sixth son of Li Jing, the master of the Southern Tang Dynasty. In the second year of Song Dynasty (96 1), Li Jing died in June. Li Yusi is located in Jinling and has been in office for fifteen years. He is called the Queen of Southern Tang Dynasty. Li Yu was weak and forced by the situation to pay tribute to Song and comfort him with the spirit of Buddhism. In the eighth year of Song Kaibao (975), Song Jun marched in and besieged Jinling. Li Yu was forced to come out naked, and then sent to Bianjing, where he was made a general and disobeyed orders. Two years later, he died (it is said that Song Taizong poisoned him with anger). Li Yucong is brilliant and has extensive knowledge of all kinds of arts. His calligraphy created his own three-body calligraphy, namely, Jin Cuodao, towel book and calligraphy. Painting landscapes, ink bamboo and feathers is refreshing and good. He is also a familiar temperament, refined and elegant. He not only read songs such as "Nianjia Mountain Qupo" and "Zhenjinling Qupo", but also revisited "Canqu of Colorful Feathers" with Zhou. At the same time, he has a rich collection of books and is good at appreciation. Poetry and prose are all excellent, and ci is especially famous.

Generally speaking, his ci can be divided into two periods, one is about the downfall of the Southern Tang Dynasty, and the other is about court life, which is beautiful and elegant. The late ci poems are mainly about recalling the past and mourning for the old country, and their style is gloomy and desolate. The language is naturally concise, the realm is open, and the style of ci is sparse, which is quite different from the romantic style of ci since the late Tang Dynasty. It expands the scope of the subject matter of Ci, enriches the artistic means of Ci, and has a milestone significance in the history of Ci. Wang Guowei's "Words on Earth" said: "Words arrive, with a wide field of vision and deep feelings, so the words of happy people are changed into the words of literati." Today, there are more than 30 poems, which are engraved with his father Li Jing as "two main poems of Southern Tang Dynasty". Later generations repeatedly added as many as 46 poems, but most of them were written by others, which is not credible. And, Don and Zhan Antai.
