Is ancestor worship important?

Q: Is it important that people always worship their parents and ancestors?

Fang Haiquan answered: On the first day of the Lunar New Year, Tomb-Sweeping Day visited his parents' ancestors, and he met his seventh parents. He found that all ancestors were kind and had boundless merits.

Many people think so. They worship their parents and ancestors on New Year's Day, but they don't come to confess. According to the six-way turn-back, if our first death is still in the ghost road and we haven't jumped ship, of course our worship will be useful. If they die first and change jobs, our worship of transcendence will increase their blessings. They will increase their blessings, and so will we who are alive. There is also the Tibetan Scripture, which says that we have made seven points of merit for our initial death, six points of complacency, and one point for our initial death.

Furthermore, pay homage to parents who have surpassed their ancestors and remind the public to respect and filial their parents and grandparents who are still alive. As well as the uncles and aunts of the previous generation, they play an important role in reminding, so their merits are boundless.

Therefore, we should approach to transcend, worship and sweep graves and towers.
