Difference between udf 1.5 and 2.0 1

UDF is a user-defined feature.

In other words, you can combine several features into a new custom feature, save it in UDF database and call it at any time. User-defined features (similar to dynamic blocks in AutoCAD) are used to copy feature groups with the same or similar appearance. This function is similar to "feature copy", but it is different. The function is comprehensive and flexible, but the corresponding steps are cumbersome. Therefore, it will help this command if you can use feature copying, especially new references in feature copying. The biggest difference between UDF and feature replication is as follows:

1. Feature copying only applies to the current model, while UDF can be applied to different models.

2. The local group copied by the feature cannot be replaced by another local group, but the UDF can be replaced by another UDF.
