Is there anything special about the Lama Temple?

Please be respectful when seeking Tao, don't tell right and wrong, have dignity and answer the master's questions frankly. After asking for instructions, thank Master sincerely before you leave.

Fourth, the oath statement. The Lama Temple is very effective. The first time I went to the Lama Temple to burn incense, I made a wish for peace. If my wish comes true, I will do it the next year, so that the Buddha will not blame me. Men take their right feet first, and women take their left feet first. Don't take the middle door.

Taboos in Lama Temple:

First, avoid inappropriate names,

Monks in temples should be called "teachers" or "wizards", and monks in charge should be called "elders", "abbots" and "Zen masters". Monks in the Lama Temple call them "lamas", which means "guru". Avoid calling them "monks", "monks" or even other insulting names.

Second, avoid improper manners.

When you meet a monk, you usually bend your head slightly with your hands folded, or bend your head slightly and put your hands on your chest. Don't use inappropriate methods such as shaking hands and hugging. As for touching the monk's head, it is uncivilized and polite.

Third, avoid misconduct.

When visiting a temple, don't shout loudly, give directions, and don't wander around or tamper with things in the temple. In particular, it is forbidden to touch and carve statues. In case of Buddhist activities, you can stand silently or leave quietly. If you bring a baby, you should take good care of him (her) and avoid doing impolite things because he is young and ignorant.
