Through Fangchenggang, the film and television culture of China and ASEAN countries can get a platform for all-round exchanges and cooperation. On the one hand, China's film and television works will further move towards ASEAN and the world from here. Fangchenggang people have a weak concept of religious belief. Most believers believe in Buddhism, while a few believe in Catholicism and Christianity. Buddhism Buddhism was introduced into the Qing Dynasty. At present, there are Kanongji in Dongxing and Shuiyue Temple in Fangcheng (Lingfeng Temple in Fangcheng), and there are 1 15 Buddhist believers in Fangchenggang, with about 35,000 Buddhist believers. The main activities of Buddhist temples are chanting in the morning and evening, land and water ceremonies, pilgrimage and worship. Major anniversaries mainly include Guanyin's birthday (February 29th of the lunar calendar), Guanyin's enlightenment day (June 29th of the lunar calendar) and Guanyin's becoming a monk day (September 29th of the lunar calendar). Buddhists go to Kannonji to worship on the first and fifteenth day of the first lunar month. 1849, French priest Bowen came to Dongxing to preach. In Nanmushan and Zhushan in dongxing city today, there are Catholic churches in Luofu and Sande. 1854, French priest went to Hengwang Village, Jiangping Town, dongxing city to build a small church. 1925, the old priest Keqin expanded the church to accommodate 700 people. In the 11th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1872), France went to Shangsi to preach. /kloc-In 0/878, the Bishop's House was established in Shangsi, and Shangsi Church (destroyed), Miqiang Church, Nameng Church and Tung Chung Church (destroyed) were established for missionary activities. There are more than 3,000 believers and more than 5,000 religious believers. The leader of the Catholic Church presides over the activities of reading the Bible, while religious activities such as baptism, confession, communion, final revelation and sacrament are presided over by parish clergy. Fangchenggang Christianity was introduced in the first year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1875). There used to be a "Gospel Hall" (destroyed) in Yongtai Street, Siyang Town, Shangsi County, where there was a "Shangsi Branch of Nanning Daojiu Hospital". There are only 130 followers, and there are worship parties in the Music Hall every Wednesday night and Sunday morning. The main activities are singing hymns and reading the Bible.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), church activities basically stopped. 1980, the church began to resume teaching. 1984, the superior allocated funds to repair some damaged churches. In 2005, there were 12 places for religious activities in Fangchenggang, with more than 3,000 believers and more than 5,000 religious believers, and 12 places for religious activities were approved for registration. After the establishment of Fangchenggang City, the Bureau of Religious Affairs was established to manage religious affairs according to the party's religious policy.
