How to judge your head shape

Observing the contour of the face is the first step to judge the head shape. Brush your hair back and look straight in the mirror. Pay attention to the shape of your forehead, cheeks and chin.

Long face: the forehead, cheeks and chin are almost the same length.

Oval face: the forehead and chin are narrow and the cheeks are wide, showing a circular curve.

Measure your head size.

Measuring the head size can judge the head shape more accurately. Measure around the widest part of the head with a soft ruler or tape measure, that is, the top of the two ear tips and the middle of the forehead. Record the measured value (perimeter).

Male: 56-62 cm

Female: 54-59 cm

Consider your hair distribution.

The distribution of hair will affect your cognition of head shape.

Uniform distribution: the hair is evenly distributed, and there is no obvious sparse or bald area.

Sparse forehead: hair thinning or alopecia in the forehead area.

Posterior baldness: The back of the head is bald or sparse.
