Origin: Yunfu City, Guangdong Province

The origin of Yunfu City in Guangdong Province: Yunfu, as a regional name, was first seen in the Tang Dynasty. According to the Records of Geography of the New Tang Dynasty, Wude of Tang Dynasty set up Qin Zhou in four years, and was in charge of Tongling and Fu counties. In the first year of Tianbao, all the states in China were renamed as counties, and Qin Zhou was renamed as Yunfu County, which is the origin of Yunfu place names. Yunfu County was formerly Dong 'an County.

Yunfu City is located in the middle and west of Guangdong Province, south of the middle reaches of Xijiang River, bordering Zhaoqing City and Jiangmen City in the east, Yangjiang City and Maoming City in the south, Wuzhou City in Guangxi in the west, Xijiang River in the north, and facing Fengkai County and Deqing County in Zhaoqing City across the river.
