This film, also known as The Story of a Big Man, tells the story of Zhou Dingfa (Chow Yun Fat) who works in a financial institution. He meets the stewardess Sally (Sally Yeh) and Zu Er (Joey Wong), who runs a fashion shop. Zhou Dingfa couldn't make up his mind about these two talents and national colors, so he married two women from England and France respectively. After their marriage, they returned to Hong Kong. With the help of their good friend Xiong Zhi (Li Zixiong), Zhou Dingfa tries to amuse his two wives with many jokes. However, in the end, the two wives didn't know the truth. Sally and Zu Er are furious and plan to unite to get back at Zhou Dingfa.
