Buddhism has its own five precepts, even Mahayana Bodhisattva. Because Buddhism attaches importance to the liberation of wisdom, not to the liberation of moral practice, nor to persistent asceticism to liberate you, but to the liberation of wisdom in the middle way. Because alcohol can make you promiscuous, many people lose their lives because of drinking, family breakdown, social unrest and so on. , are caused by drinking promiscuity. When drinking, the first cup is drunk by one person, and the second cup becomes wine! I'm already drunk in a daze. Of course, alcohol itself is not a crime, but drinking promiscuous sex will make you commit a crime, so alcohol is a warning. In order to prevent other mistakes caused by promiscuity, and to avoid crimes, we must give up drinking. This is the motivation for Buddhism not to drink. Although drinking is not a crime, it is easy for people to commit crimes. There is a story circulating in the scriptures. When I was in Cayefo, I heard that there was a believer in the Five Commandments who kept abstinence. One day, he came back from outside because he was thirsty. At that time, there was a kind of wine, colorless and tasteless. There was a bowl of water-colored wine on the table, because he was thirsty and thought it was water. Wow! I was thirsty and drank it. Because he was very thirsty, he drank the glass of wine on the table as plain water in one gulp, but it didn't take long for the wine to start acting up in his stomach. Wow! Li Ji's snoring alcohol began to attack. When alcohol attacks, the nervous system gets excited due to the stimulation of alcohol, and it loses its mind endlessly, resulting in an impulse. There is no rational tendency and control, which leads to many great commandments. What precept did you break? First, when he couldn't control the promiscuity of rational drinking, he saw a duck (whether a duck or a chicken, one of which belongs to this kind of livestock) coming from next door and passing by his house. He lost his mind, caught the duck, killed it, cooked it and ate it. When the wife next door saw that her duck didn't come back, she went to look for it and went to the five precepts believers' house next door and asked,' Oh dear! Why didn't one of my ducks see it tonight? "Did it run to you?" The Five Commandments of Misdrinking believed him. Because the stimulation of alcohol excited him impulsively, when he saw his wife next door coming to look for a duck, he became lustful again and raped her impulsively. This kind of rape is lewd. Afterwards, the wife next door told the story, and many neighbors joined forces to arrest the man and sent him to the government for punishment. When he arrived at the government, he began to lie because he was still drunk. He refused to admit that he had stolen the duck or raped her. He refused to admit that this disciple of the Five Commandments committed the Five Commandments in a row just because he accidentally drank a bowl of wine, so he lost his foothold and became an eternal hatred. How could he commit the five commandments? Just because drinking wine by mistake leads to binge drinking, stealing, catching other people's ducks, killing animals' ducks, raping people and lying, it is such a big crime to drink wine by mistake because of drinking water. As you know, drinking is a big problem. Although drinking is not a crime in itself, it is a fact that having sex after drinking will make you guilty. This is why the Buddha forbade drinking.

Therefore, many housekeepers have to socialize professionally, and it is really difficult to abstain from sex on conscience, but remember! Be careful not to have promiscuity, it is best not to drink, and those who have no choice should be careful not to drink indiscriminately.
