In fact, the earliest relatively complete text of the legend of the white snake is the fable "The Legend of the White Snake in Yongzhen" compiled by Feng Menglong in Ming Dynasty. At this time, the little snake has grown up slowly and got used to Xu Xian's feeding. As soon as Xu Xian lifted the lid, the white snake looked up excitedly and swallowed the food with an open mouth. On this day, Xu Xian's mother changed, but she didn't know the mystery. When she lifted the lid, suddenly a big snake opened its mouth, and the snake letter was still spitting and ringing. Xu Xian's mother suddenly fell to the ground and died without breathing. Knowing that something was wrong, White Snake stayed quietly beside Xu Xian's mother until Xu Xian came home.
