Where are the most authentic apples in Yantai?

Yantai Apple really found two places that made it famous (that is, the origin of Yantai Apple). One is Xingfu Village, Zhifu District, Yantai, now Happiness Village 1 to 18 (now Hongda Market, Wanhua No.1 Living Area, Fuan Community, Xianghe Community, Gangcheng Building Materials Market, Li Xingguo Community, New World Garden, Happy River Community, etc.). However, Happiness Village has now become a residential area, and there is no apple tree in sight. The planting area of Shaoruikou Village is far less than Qixia, and the apple industry promotion in Shaoruikou Village or Fushan District is far behind Qixia City. Nowadays, the apples in Fushan District are less famous than those in Qixia City. Due to the vigorous promotion of local apple industry in Qixia City, Yantai, advertisements can be said to be "overwhelming", which makes many people think that Qixia City is the authentic origin of Yantai apples. In fact, this is a misunderstanding. The real origin of Yantai apples is Zhifu District and Fushan District of Yantai City, and Qixia City is a rising star at best. Although there are some national apple industrial bases, the authenticity of Yantai apples is still in Zhifu District and Fushan District of Yantai City.

Now speaking of Yantai apples, people will naturally think of "Red Fuji" apples. But correctly speaking, the authentic Yantai apples are not red Fuji apples, but original ecological apples such as Daguoguang, Xiaoguoguang, red banana, green banana and Jin Shuai. The output of these Yantai-origin apples is far less than that of "Red Fuji" imported from Japan, and their taste (sugar content) and appearance (red) are not as good as those of Red Fuji apples. Therefore, fruit farmers in Yantai began to cut down the original apples long ago (about 199 1 year ago) and began to plant red Fuji apples. Now they want to eat native apples such as small Guoguang and red banana in Yantai. It can be said that the impression of "Yantai Apple" is now "Red Fuji Apple". Now people outside Yantai (including Yantai people born after 1980s and 1990s) only think of Red Fuji apples when they mention them, which is actually another misunderstanding of Yantai apples.
