What is the attraction of Guandu Ancient Town in Kunming?

Guandu town, an ancient town of Guandu in Kunming, is located in the southeast suburb of Kunming, and is one of the famous historical and cultural ancient towns. It is one of the birthplaces of Yunnan culture and the main historical and cultural landscape of Yunnan tourism, especially Kunming tourism. 1, Lingyunge

Twin Towers

The twin towers, one east and one west, are about15m apart. They were built in the Yuan Dynasty (1327- 1335). The West Building was destroyed in the 1833 earthquake, and the Guandu District Government rebuilt it in 1999. The height of the Twin Towers is 17.4 meters. According to legend, every 60 years on the night of the "Autumn Equinox", the sun sets, the moon rises and the twin towers complement each other, which is comparable to the "resplendence" of Jinma Biji Square.

3. King Kong Tower

King Kong Pagoda was built in the second year of Tianshun in Ming Dynasty (1458). It is a five-tower building, with a small tower at the four corners of the Zhongda Tower, built on a square platform, which highlights the reverence and support for the Five Buddhas.

The tower base is square, with a pedestal height of 4.7m and a side length of10.4m.. East, west, north and south cross four doors, also known as the heart-piercing tower. The middle of the main tower is tall and majestic, with a height of 16.05 meters, while the small tower is only 5 meters. The pagoda is shaped like Lama Pagoda, with thick ends and thin middle. There are seven circles of lotus petals (called diamond rings) in the lower half, which contract step by step. There are temples (shrines) around the tower body, and there is a square sumeru-style tower neck above the tower body. There are thirteen heavenly wheels and umbrellas, eight bells and four heavenly kings on the pagoda. Then there is a round stone lamp surrounded by small bells. The top of the brake is Aquarius, Aquarius. A small bottle tower stands at the four corners of the base. Although the King Kong Pagoda is only 500 years old, it has important historical, cultural and artistic value. 1996 the State Council listed this tower as a national key cultural relic protection unit. Due to the soft and sinking soil of the tower foundation, the whole tower body was raised by 2.6 meters through scientific construction.

4. The Temple of Law

Huo Zhuoji, built for Dali in Song Dynasty, is located at the top of Luofeng Mountain. The Buddhist temple has three entrances, which together with the annex hall form two courtyards. The temple features stone carvings of Maitreya Buddha, wood carvings of Shuangfeng and Luowa Tomb. A Maitreya Buddha and Bodhisattva carved from white stone is enshrined in the Temple of the King of Heaven, with a simple and elegant shape, which is different from Maitreya with a big belly. Shi Ying Li was excavated at 200 1 when migrant workers took soil for construction. It is estimated to be the remains of a temple built in Dali during the Song Dynasty, and now it is the treasure of Huozhuoji Town Temple. The main hall in the temple is small in scale, and it is a building of A Qing dynasty. Under the eaves, the "double wind rising sun" is decorated by carving, and the four corners are carved into the shape of a wind bird, with vivid modeling and simple colors.
