Where is Luanping County?

Luanping County, located in the southwest of Chengde City, is one of the 35 cities and counties around Beijing and Tianjin in Hebei Province. Located at the intersection of Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning and Mongolia, it is known as the North Gate of Beijing and is a transportation hub connecting Beijing, Tianjin, Liaoning and Mongolia. The southwest is away from Beijing 165km, from Capital Airport 120km and from Tianjin Port 3 1km. It is located 65 kilometers east of Chengde, a famous historical and cultural city. The county has a total area of 32 13 square kilometers and a population of 330,000. Jurisdiction over 22 townships and 225 administrative villages.
