Standard reference value of sperm quality

The reference values of sperm quality inspection are as follows.

1, semen pH: 7.2-8.6, average 7.8.

2, sperm survival rate: dead sperm does not exceed 50%.

3. Semen liquefaction: complete liquefaction in 30 minutes. Those who do not liquefy over 1 hour are called semen liquefaction disorder.

4. The number of sperm in semen: 60-200 million per milliliter. Less than 20 million per milliliter is called oligozoospermia.

5. Sperm vitality: Sperm moving forward should be quantified, not less than 60% in the first hour and not less than 50% in the second hour.

6, semen volume: 2~6 ml each time. More than 8 ml is called oligozoospermia, and less than 1.5 ml is oligozoospermia.

7. Sperm morphology: not less than 70% of normal sperm. If the semen test results are significantly different from the above values, you should suspect that you are infertile.
