The Wannian Pile in Jihongqiao

Wannian old pile was originally on both sides of Jihongqiao. A chain is sleeved on the Wannian pile, passing along the pier and into the cliff joint. The flood of 1986 washed away the Wannian pile in the east without a trace. At present, there is only one tree under the cliff stone carving on the west side of Jihongqiao, about 80 cm from the ground and about 72 cm in circumference. It is cylindrical at the bottom and mushroom-shaped at the top-to put it bluntly, it is the appearance of a male genitalia. Pedestrians passing by Jihongqiao, especially those on both sides of the strait, like to touch the Millennium Pile. Touch it and it will be safe to cross the river. In the face of the rushing river, I will feel less flustered. At night, some women will sit on the Millennium heap, which will increase the chances of pregnancy and achieve the effect of burning incense and kowtowing.

There is a rectangular cave about 50 cm long and 40 cm wide above Wannian Pile near the inscription "Mountains and rivers are outside", and several pebbles have fallen. The locals said it was used "together" with the Millennium Pile: pregnant women stood next to the Millennium Pile and threw pebbles at the cave. When the stone falls steadily, the boy will be born.
